They weren't alive, to be fair. Just a husk with no mind or soul. In any case, I'd prefer it if you didn't hurt anyone at all. You can restrain them if it's really necessary.

He heard whispers. Frantic, terrified whispers. 

Glen began to feel a strange pull toward the candle, as if possessing it would make him happy. Fill some hole in his heart.

Glen began to feel a strange pull toward the candle, as if possessing it would make him happy. Fill some hole in his heart. 

He looked at the vial, scowling. "Fine." he sighed. He snatched the vial out of her hands, and teleported Cricket back.

Cricket gasped as the walls disappeared , and he returned to the battlement. He was out. He was out! He sighed with relief, tears still not yet over. Then he saw Sandlocke. 

Instincts took over and he Enulled the Narrator, who looked up in horror. This man had threatened Rose. This man had locked him in the box! He slammed a fist into Sandlocke's stomach, again and again. He ignored the man's screams, grabbing him, forcing him upwards, and slamming a right hook into his face, breaking his nose. Blood streamed down the man's face.

Cricket growled, turned, seizing the defenseless man's shoulder, and tossing him off the tower. He sent a wad of spittle after him, and turned back to the horrified guards, who desperately clutched their spears. That was the price men would pay for hurting Rose.

Cricket stood unsteadily for a moment. His fists were bleeding, covered in the blood of both him and Sandlocke. The images of the wall remained though, in his mind. He was still trapped. He was... he was free, he thought, with a deep breath. "I... I don't know." he answered truthfully.
