"Ahhh, I see. I quite like Lady Bug! If this 'Ruia' is anything like her, I'm sure this will go swimmingly!"

With a wave of her hand, Sequence requested permission to teleport to this 'Ruia' character. She would just appear there directly, but doing so could be rather rude. With it, she attached a message.

Hello! I've heard that there's been some conflict on the Thread concerning you, and I'd like to meet you to see what this is all about!
With wishes of fortune and happiness,

Sequence

P.S. I have gifts.

@Halcyon The Only

You're quite welcome to join me, she replied. Coming with this sentiment was the idea of a location.

"Ah, wonderful! Before we depart," Sequence looked to Unintelligible. "Do you want to join me? It'll be alright if you don't, I just want to make that clear," she said.

She shrugged. "In a fight I am."

"Only fights with dumb Ennullers. If you think about it, they're basically cheaters. Honestly, the Ennuller group should probably be the one taking care of this situation." He paused, deciding to think more about that later. "I'm sure we'll find somebody else to fight after this. I don't think Ruia's an Ennuller, and Malevolence isn't. Even though he has some weird technology."

"Bat, I'm basically cheating. At everything. And I don't want to have to fight anyone else."

Afterimage didn’t see this due to the Ennulling wave.

"Well..... they're cheating your cheating. Your cheating is good cheating."

She snorted sadly and shook her head.

"Is too," he insisted. "Good cheating. So there."

She shrugged.

"How's your head?"

He frowned and ran a hand through his hair. "It's fine. Thanks for healing it."

She nodded. "That's . . . that's good."

"Sorry for worrying you, though." He hugged her a little tighter, and then let go. "You wanna talk about anything?"

The barest ghost of a smile flashed across her face.

"I'm fine for now. Thank you."

"Yay!" He smiled.

"...do you think Cricket's okay?" He wanted to go help, but... at the same time, he really didn't want to leave Tam alone.

"I hope so . . . you should see if you can go help him."

He seemed really happy.

“Are you gonna be okay, though?”

Feather, who had been irrelevant for the past hundred pages or so, squawked and landed on Tam's shoulder.

"Thank you." He smiled and pet his bird, then stood.

"You sure you'll be okay?"

She nodded.

"You go. I'll be fine."

He nodded, but paused. Pulling open his bag, he shoved several bottles into her hand. "That one's panic pills, this one's numbing, this one's for focus, and there's one here for sleep if you feel like you need sleep."

There were also some fireworms, disinfectant, and bandages.
