Unintelligible hesitated, then nodded. "Thank you for caring about my well-being." He raised a finger. "However, if Everyone makes any more trouble anytime soon, please tell me. You're injured, and I'm far from helpless now that it's Ookla season."

The traveler sighs, kicking a nearby rock in irritation. "Great. So neither of you knows how to get to him? Well how am I..." She trailed off, staring at the rock she'd kicked over. On the bottom of it was inscribed a message.

The traveler cocks her head. "Bacon, do you know where that is?"

Sain frowned. There was a dangerous look in his eyes. “Now, that is an ignorant question. Do you know to whom you speak?”

The chair dissolved as Sain lifted himself up with the Strands, and he spoke in a hushed voice. “I am not afraid to take down an emperor. You would not be my first. And the other was much more powerful than you could ever imagine.”

A few Strands rose from him, and they darted towards the other chair, slicing through it and the surrounding area. After a blink of an eye, the chair was dust, with many thin slices in the ground.

Sain smiled, then. “Besides, if you kill meeeeeee, you’ll probably have to face Nasriel!”

Sain still did not draw his Notblades.

That was the post I was referring to, where only the emperor is mentioned as a character. 

The small drone looks around to see where it is now, the pilot - Rebus, of course - dimly aware of Authors mettleing with its location.

Casi refers to an origin story for Mirth m’ friends made, where Casi the cat well in a radioactive puddle and became mirth! Madness is using it as a joke.

The Emperor shakes his head and getting up from his chair, a hint of a smile on his lips. "If I am so ignorant, then enlighten me as to why you are here. And then, maybe, I will answer your question." he says turning his back to you and moving to a candelabra on a nearby altar and snuffing out each candle, and muttering to himself a prayer for each flame gone out. The rest of the occupants in the room gasp lightly at this act. Very reverently he places the candelabra down and turns back around to you. His expression has changed from annoyed, to calm. A calm so quiet that it almost hurts. "I apologize for my previous outburst." He says. "I ask you to also not make any rash decisions while you are here. You are the one intruding on my conference and I am allowing it. For now, that is.  Do not take advantage of me and my generosity." He smiles. "Now. tell me please. Why are you here?"

Tam reached for it and it unfolded, revealing that the skin underneath had been completely healed.

She made a satisfied noise and put the sphere on his arm next.

The edge gave off a prismatic glow, and it twisted the air around it. Sain stared for a second, and then sheathed it. As he did, though, the Emperor felt a small twang of pain.

Sain grinned. “You have engaged in a war, and your are being rather loud. The Scribe is merely deliberating whether or not to support you in this.”

Asher nods. They can do that. They start walking around inspecting stuff and keeping a keen eye for anything suspicious.
