If an observer A was traveling at near-lightspeed relative to an object, and another observer B was traveling at the same speed, but in the opposite direction, they would both perceive each other as moving slower than light. In our universe, an object can't be moving faster than lightspeed relative to an observer. It isn't possible.

As for the laser pointer, the only things that are moving are your hand (which I shouldn't need to convince you is moving slower than lightspeed) and the photons that comprise the laser beam (which I shouldn't need to convince you are moving at lightspeed.) The 'laser dot' isn't a physical thing- the photons that are hitting the faraway surface in one moment are not the same photons hitting that surface in the next moment.

The point I was trying to make is that things can seemingly go faster than light as long as no actual object is. The two directions thing seems to be wrong from the spaceship’s point of view, but if observer C is on the planet they started at the distance between the ships grows at almost twice the speed of light. The laser dot thing is a similar example, as is the “train moves at almost the speed of light, if it drops traincars off regularly the back of the train goes faster than light” scenario (no train car moves faster than light, but the car that is designated the back changes and thus seems faster than light). Anyway, the point I was trying to make was that if something goes faster than light, something is wrong with your thought experiment and you should make sure that you aren’t using quasiparticle-like objects.

Think Limbo from D&D.)

The marching is heard throughout all of the Planes.

Unfortunately, as they were still not very good lawyers, their suing was not very effective.

Which group?

(also the thought experiment is time travel…)

Sain waved a Strand to the device on greetings.

He nodded, tearing up. He hastily wiped the tears away before they could fall. “Whatever. He was just a bird.”

Tam Narrated a small silver sphere into existence and placed it on Bat's injured leg, where it unfolded and fold around the injury.

"There. Let's try that." She gave him a side hug. "And . . . I'm sorry."

“Yeah, right.” The traveler perks up suddenly. “I got it! I’ll go talk to Eof! He knows everything, so he’s bound to have an answer.”

"Eof?"

Sain grinned, and one of his Strands gave a wave. “You never answered my question. But I’ll have you know, a very powerful person sent my here.”

And with that, a note fell down to Kamir.

Kahmir grasps the note as it falls and gives you a dead stare before examining it.

There's a lot of people trying to interact with the Emperor. Not what I expected. lol.

Do you mind letting me complete another story plot before your character(s) interact with the Emperor?

No, I don’t think you did.

Ah, so really physics is at a loss anyway.
The group in Ragnorok: Kion, Faunus, Perseus, Moni, and Casi.
The device waves side to side, tilting to do so. The orange ring seems to be holding it up, and the design is similar to Rebus’s hologram projector.
@Ookla the Cookie Collector, you can move the device if you want. The Emperor is the only person mentioned by name, so people would logically teleport to him.

He had his introduction earlier today. but you're fine for not catching it cause it's buried pretty deep. (Been a lot of posts today.)

[This material is a naturally occurring form of the Adari! Its a bit gruesome, but Pyk will get it.]
Pyk set to work, carefully carving at the skin of a beast, reaching inside, and withdrawing a small biological mesh. He attaches it to a tool, then brings out some of his dust, jabbing the tool into it.

He melted some of the dust, forming it into a plate. He placed this plate on an axle, then groaned. “We need an electromagnet.”

[Yes!]

Pyk sighs, and he goes over to the pod from which the people emerged, bringing back some copper, which quickly formed into a wire, which he wrapped around the axle, and stuck within the Adari plate. He place a few magnets from the pod around this, and sighed, energizing the Adari with his powers. It started to turn, a perpetual motion.

Asher just watched having no clue what was happening. I think he's getting annoyed at my lack of knowledge for technicalology
