"No, I've been off lately. This other half of my soul, it's changing me. I don't know how though, but all I can say is, I've been a mess."

"You don't seem that different to me. A bit more serious maybe, but how have you been a mess?"

1 minute ago, Ookla the nostealnamepls said:

"So a lot? I'll keep that in mind..." Subversion frowned. "Maybe I am acting a bit different."

She put a hand over her mouth and nodded, eyes wide.

1 minute ago, Ookla the nostealnamepls said:

"Oh, right. Sorry Tam."

"It's fine," she squeaked.

"Probably an effect of the soul splitting." Subversion ran a hand through her dark hair, considering. "I seem to be feeling less considerate than I have been lately. Sorry."

"It's okay!"

Then she turned into a crab again, even smaller this time, and scuttled behind a rock to compose herself.

She looked at his flamethrower suspiciously, then shrugged.

The swarm was soon engulfed in flames.

The swarm let out a monstrous scream of agony as it burned, insects falling to the ground in charred clumps.

Eventually it limped away, its size much reduced.

"Come on," said Bacon. "Let's catch up to the others."

In the state we first found it naturally, it would only move itself when electricity was applied. We were held back for so long because of the fact that we couldn’t refine it without losing this, for the construct we found it in was a biological structure, so with too much use, it would break down. But we eventually found a way to create it on our own, which allowed all this technology.

So it is a living thing, then.

Perseus started hiking through the woods.

He Enulled it. "On a different note," he said. "I think I finally have a plan."

"That's good," said Bacon, "because time is up."

The Ennuller appeared as he finished saying the words.

2 hours ago, Ookla the Irreplaceable said:

"He already trained me though!" he protested. "And I'm great at it now, look!" For emphasis, he conjured a floating ball of Enulling energy above his palm.

@Ookla the Bacon is there a name for Enulling energy cause the term gets old fast.

Silent energy, perhaps.

"I remember everything." the traveler continues staring around in all directions. "Everything after I was created, at least."

Moni followed, keeping a wary eye on Faunus, who was doing that typical Narrator thing where they floated a few inches above the ground, following you everywhere with the dead stare of low Authorial motivation energy.

"I don't know, I think it's kind of cool." Subversion stuck her hand in the ball of Enulling energy to see what would happen.

"Do you remember your purpose?" asked Bacon, jogging up to the pair.

“Of course.” The traveler frowns. “Do you know the way to Onyx’s castle?”

She ran after Lady Bug.

“I have a better place for you to hide. There’s a basement. I don’t think it’ll collapse.”

Haly, that is absolutely adorable.

She cracked one eye open and, upon seeing the sandcastle, skittered into it immediately.

"Thanks," she whispered just inside the entrance, then scurried into the tiny basement.

She was skeptical that it would actually protect her from anything, but at least she felt a little safer.

Goodnight

Halyyyyyy go to beddddd :D

“Which ideal is this?”

Sort of… it is less of a biological thing and more of… Not much is known about it, but it is known that the Adari appears, structured, in nature much too often. Our people have been theorizing, and believe that the purist state of the Adari is in an artificial intelligence.

I’m trying really hard to only use info about the Adari, and not the Strands… but you kinda need both to properly explain it.

Both. She can be in two places at once!

Sylas has yet to understand such power.
