The traveler hears the buzzing retreat and turns back, surprised. Quite a stroke of luck she decides, then continues on her way.

 In the state we first found it naturally, it would only move itself when electricity was applied. We were held back for so long because of the fact that we couldn’t refine it without losing this, for the construct we found it in was a biological structure, so with too much use, it would break down. But we eventually found a way to create it on our own, which allowed all this technology.

Madness extends a hand. “Does that matter?” She asks lightheartedly. A complex construct appeared above her hand, and it highlighted two lines in the construct. Madness frowned. “I guess it does.”

Kion shakes Madness/Casi’s hand. “My name is Kion. I take it you’re a Narrator.” Both from the magic, and the frivolity and oddity. 
Rebus’s hologram projector keeps writing. “I like Madness! I’m not sure why - I blame Author things. Regardless, the fact that you specified sense indicates there won’t be any lasers, which is unfortunate. Which sixth sense does the Notblade affect? My first thought was proprioception, but I don’t know if that works.”
