Beosta beamed at him.

Liveyha connected him with Gaioh and relayed the message.

“Oh, things are good,” he said. “You look pretty tired.”

Livey-HA

He nodded. That's because I am.

He smiled back at Beosta, then accidentally knocked the turret she had just fixed over with his foot. Oops.

He tried to fix it semi-sucessfully.

What have you been up to? he asked Gaioh.

She sighed, but honestly didn’t really mind.

“Not much,” he said. “Bat and I were still at the battlefield, but some lady showed up and sent us here. So that was nice.”

”Lady Bug,” Bat supplied.

“Right. She said she can be summoned like Bacon.”

By saying her name three times? Odd.

The turret fell over again. Dangit.

“Yeah. It’s good to know we’ve got two Narrators on our side, in case Bacon can’t help.”

This time, Beosta had to hold back a laugh. She knelt and remolded it.

Oh my gosh I’m pretty sure my poem has added a canonical way of summoning Narrators…

although…

if someone said Bacon the Bard thrice, I think he would reply no matter if I made an obscure poem about Livetha losing her Narration.

True. It's good to have people who can back us up like that, he said, though he only seemed to be paying half-attention.

He nudged the turret with his foot, purposefully knocking it over. He grinned mischievously at Beosta.

She sighed and rolled her eyes, suppressing the smile tugging at the corners of her mouth cuz dayung he was cute when he smiled like that.

Gaioh snorted and tried to turn it into a cough. Bat looked at him strangely.

Shoe chuckled, then stood and futility tried to brush more sand off.

So . . . now what?

Pyk nodded, then stood. “Let’s go, then.”

cya!

Asher decided to let the others chat it out in their head. They stood up and followed pyk to wherever they are headed next. I think it's awsome you can feel emotions! Just don't be to prideful.

Faunus looked up towards the render, and scowled. “Wonderful, just wonderful-“ then she directed her dissatisfaction towards Kion, “And you, well that was plain stupid- come on, let’s get you out of here.” As she said that, it just so happened  that a portal appeared in the center of the pavilion, to take them elsewhere. It was rather convenient being a Narrator. With a grin she stepped through, her long waist length strawberry blonde hair swaying behind her.

good night.

“I’m aware I was being an idiot; I’ll think twice about using any sort of emotion magic even if I can spare it.” Kion hurriedly steps through the portal. “This is how mages last as long as we do. Usually, though, whoever does the teleportation strengthens their own Render, so you can’t run forever.”

A wild ESPEON appeared! Oh? It has an Infinity +1 blade!

Wild Espeon used CUT!

ENEMY Render was defeated!

Espeon got 34567876545776546787654778655678 EXE.

Espeon reached L.O.V.E. 20

*final fantasy victory theme*

This is bold, so I’ll assume this is canon, if a bit god-mod-y.
The Render is cut in half by the powerful sword, as the components that make up its body are scattered to the winds. It looks defeated, but where a single grain of sand lands, the ground springs up and reforms it, back as a gorilla-shaped rocky powerhouse. “You are in my way. Begone, and leave your blade, or you will die.”

She paused, then shrugged. “We could go find your sister and Cricket. Though I don’t know how much help I’d be.”

“I’m in favor of not doing that,” Bat said. “If anyone cares.”

Faunus raised a questioning eyebrow at him as they stepped through the portal, “I can’t run forever? Well, unlike you, Kion, I don’t have a render trying to kill me.” As she stepped out of the portal, her bare feet touched sand, which made her look up sharply, then groan. The portal closed behind them, leaving the two stranded in a desert, with nothing around. Maybe she should have specified where the portal was to lead. . .

Kion looks at the desert, searching for landmarks. “That was a rhetorical you, referring to a typical mage in a hypothetical scenario. But Bacon actually asked me if he should make himself a Render. I’m not sure why.”

Maybe. Where'd they go again?

Sorry Haly, I have to get off for the night.

I'll be out 'til midnight

Beosta also didn’t care, and Gaiou only felt slight sympathy.

“I think they went to his home,” Beosta said.

“Well I, unlike Bacon, am not self conscious to even consider a Render.” Faunus said, bare toes digging into the sand. “Not that I can get this Narration to work right for me anyway, because I did not want to come here. I hate sand.”she said, wrapping her arms around herself in a hug, glaring disdainfully at the offending sand.

[Why? Everyone skirts away from it, but, like, why?]

They approached an important seeming building. A number of crafts were lifting from and to the building, coming from space.

because being to prideful is bad. It's ok to be confident but if your to prideful it can lead to destruction.

Asher stopped walking in shock. Flying, and from space!?! This is not what they expected when they said things can fly. They thought tiny things like just bowls and what not. "They are going to space?!"

[Destruction is bad. At least, that is what a simple web search tells me.]

“To other planets. Not all of our officials operate here.” The front doors were imposing, but Pyk flashed a keycard in front a panel. A side door opened, and he led them through it.

yes destruction can make lives worse for people. Sheesh you two seem to be best friends

Asher Quickly caught up to him. "Other planets?! Like just another world. You just fly to another world?!"

 sparks I missed alot.

Ista nodded. “I would also like to familiarize myself with your legal codes. Do you have any documentation for it?”

"Well, yeah, we've got lawbooks. What part exactly do you want to examine?"

1 hour ago, Ookla the Bacon said:

"What isn't fair?" asked Bacon, conjuring a padded seat and a paper notepad.

Subversion gave Bacon a flat stare. Then she sighed, allowing the rain to relent and summoning a chaise lounge to lie down on. "Nogard's not real. And I'm not real either. I just- I-" Her voice broke, and she took a few deep breaths before continuing "It's just... not fair. I never cared before. But now I do." Tears ran down her face with renewed vigor, and she summoned a handkerchief to wipe them away. "Bacon," She said, staring at him with reddened eyes. "nothing here is real. When it gets down to it, nothing really matters. So why... why do I hurt so much?"

2 hours ago, Ookla the Bacon said:

"But... but..." Selppaenip stuttered. "What do you mean?"

The Great Wizard closed his eyes. "My plots, my schemes, I told myself they were for the good of the Thread. Told myself that they were necessary to save everything from the two Plotblades." He shook his head. "Look where I am now. The Plotblades? Still out there. Worse, now everyone knows about them, the odds that they will be found grow ever greater. Because of this, because of my actions, the brave adventurers have decided their best chance is to risk everything on a fool's gamble. My greatest friends hate me, with good reason. How many adventurers have I betrayed, hurt, for nothing? How many have died because of my actions? I am guilty, Selppaenip. I cannot deny it, so I will face justice for my crimes."

Silver did some calculations, and then an alteration to his code. [There we go. Any mite of pride I may feel will be flagged for suspicion immediately, as my primary objective is to help, not harm. I can help in harming, but only when absolutely necessary.]
”The various Dragonblood systems are what allowed this to happen. Without these things… my AI estimates that we would need thousands more years before we ever reached this technological level, if ever.”

Asher was still shocked. "This is not normal"

Sigh. That's not what I meant. Being confident can help just don't be too confident. But still feel emotions
