Also, how are the Withergeists on sound? Is it just light?

Tenth  drove his blade into the dome. He added on a second setting, and jerked his blade upwards. Below the Citizen, the earth erupted, ripping itself apart.

Asher slashes her blades at them cutting through one. She continues trying to not scream as another one tries to bond with her from behind. She stops ridged with pain. Still resisting as much as possible. “I will not give up” she says strained.

A tide of withergeists erupted from the hole, hissing as they scoured Tenth's armor for the slightest crack, withering as they went.

The man fell into the darkness below, vanishing from sight.

Tenth leaped upwards, jets carrying him away. He resized his mech to its full size, and poured a fiery inferno from his katana down upon the hordes of Withergeists (though careful not to friendly fire). Then, not wishing to have Shoe get away, he used his katana to close up the gap. He slammed himself down onto the ground, and he smooshed a number of them. He hesitated, then nodded. It needs be done.

Without a second thought, he linked the katana to Shoe, and the armor retreated into it. It seemed a normal katana. He pressed the katana to Shoe and Shoe was suddenly encased in the exosuit, which was healing his wound.

Asher stood up. She spun around cutting the withergeist behind her. “Im swear im going supernova to get these storming things out of there.”

Sequence quickly pulled her hand away, frowning as she looked at the vines. “Well drat.” She summoned Conflict, who took the form of a flaming double-edged great sword. She sighed, then started slashing into the vines to the best of her ability. She was marginally sure that there were people in danger in here, and also Gail! Gail was cool.

We have yet to see if he actually got to the basement… otherwise I kinda cleared the way to him. (And am now powerless.)
