I discovered that feature earlier today after accidentally double posting, and honestly… SO NICE. Being able to essentially edit your message, but add quotes!! You couldn’t do that before!!

Yeah, the only way to do so is through the “quote” button in the top bar, but doing that doesn’t specify who the quote is from, nor notify the person, so this new post merge feature is quite awesome

Ah i see now. So it doesn’t count as double posting if the posts merge? Or does it still count? Also what are repercussions for double posting?

If the posts merge, it’s not taking up extra space and is therefore not a double post, and instead a usable feature! (At least, I’d imagine so. I can’t see why it would still count, but maybe don’t quote me on that.)

As for repercussions, I don’t really know. I do know that accidents happen, and it’s not a huge deal. Plus, the mods are awesome and understanding. So basically, double-posting should be avoided but we’re all human and we all make mistakes sometimes .

As for repercussions, I don’t really know. I do know that accidents happen, and it’s not a huge deal. Plus, the mods are awesome and understanding. So basically, double-posting should be avoided but we’re all human and we all make mistakes sometimes .

Alright. Thanks for that. Becuase sometimes my brain cant think in full things. Like if we talked in real life i would have pauses between sentences and what not. So when i type it is very choppy. And i;l try to avoid any of that. But i will be most definently be messing that up a lot.

No worries! To add info, edits can always help, and if you need to add a quote or something else unavailable in an edit, you can probably make good use of the new merge feature. (I am quite scatterbrained, so I certainly know I will )

Ennullers nullify narrators. Basically, there is a group that practically all ennullers are part of(yes there are exceptions) that deals with rogue narrators(or narrators that attempt to leave the thread, or a whole bunch of other scenarios)

 

Most narrators(or at least the ones in this group) utilize only a miniscule part of their powers, as otherwise they'd basically be God. like by just saying, "I am immortal," or "I have infinite power," or "I am God," a narrator could technically become that. but that kinda somewhat ruins the rp most of the time and doesn't make for much fun.

 

Bacon, Tam, and Natsu are all narrators

Quagmire is an ennuller

Bruh what are you talking about Bacon does not hold back at all 

And omnipotent characters can make for plenty of fun, you just have to be clever about it.

In general, you should NOT worry about your characters being too powerful. TLT is a place where anything goes. We'll make it work!
