"Whether there's a way to stop the Witherlord without killing your avatar doesn't matter anymore, as I don't think we have time to discover it. We're lucky that the Witherlord hasn't destroyed everything already. He could do so any second." Everyone said.

Nameless rolled his eyes. "No he couldn't. The Witherlord's been around for far longer than I have, and he's never managed to destroy everything. Yes he's a problem, but not an immediate one."

"He could just be stalling. As far as I know, there's nothing stopping him."

"Narrators are stopping him."

"All Narrators are stopping him. We create as fast as he destroys."

"The word all only adds one more Narrator. Five of you against the Witherlord?"

Nameless laughed. "Five? There are more than five of us. Perhaps you can see five active Narrators, but that does not mean there are only five. We have been locked in here with the Witherlord for more than a thousand pages, and he has not destroyed us. So long as a single Narrator remains, he cannot destroy everything, for it will merely be created anew."

"And what happened to the others? Creation is only happening as the Narrators add to the never-ending story that is TLT, right? There aren't many doing that currently, although if only one Narrator needs to be standing, you should be okay. That is, until the rest of them suffer the same fate as Thaidakar."

Nameless shrugged. "New Narrators will rise to join us as old ones fall, just as we create new worlds as old ones are destroyed."

"If that's the case, why is everyone freaking out about the Witherlord? If there will always be Narrators to hold him back, why is he even trying?"

"Because he causes pain. And destruction. Must he be a threat to all existence in order to require being stopped?"

Everyone considered this for a moment, then vanished. "Fuzzy, I'm going to need a bit of your empathy." They appeared in front of Nameless again. "Yes, I 100% agree with you now, he now needs to be stopped even sooner before he causes any more pain!"

"Yes, he does. Don't expect me to be happy about it, however. I wish there was another way, but we must work with the hand we have been dealt, I suppose."

Everyone looked uncharacteristically happy. They then paused. "Ugh, that was awful. How long would it take to find the Survey's 'other way'?"

"I expect you to not attempt to do something that could potentially kill someone without even telling them what you're doing."

He shrugged, "I expected they would survive. I mean, didn't you?"

"no idea, give me a sec."

"Why would you just assume he'd survive? What if that body couldn't handle the soul of a Narrator?"

He smiled, "then the narrator would have narrated themselves out of it."

"Of course it does! If you keep doing stuff like this, someone could die!"

"What?" Moni looked confused. "How could you stop that?"

He pulled an uno reverse card out of his pocket. he brushed his shoulder lightly, thinking.

"I don't think those work on Narrators. And if they do, you should use it on Thaidakar."
