Unintelligible nodded and started ripping the nails away.

Rep got to the edge of the prison and stopped suddenly, as if he'd run into a wall. "Dang it. 655? Where are you?"

[ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them]

The adventurer's weaponds did nothing, as the nails weren't really there. Sequence mumbled something about the sun being too bright.

"We need the invitations. They can teleport Sequence out of the prison."

Soulmover smiled, "we don't need those, we just need souls." blue energy appeared in his hands and he teleported Sequence out of the prison and onto Nameless' lap.

Did Narrators even have souls? Nobody knew. Nonetheless, the not-quite nails were still there.

Nameless jumped and dumped Sequence onto the ground. "Storms. You succeeded already?" He peered at Sequence. "Well, looks like you didn't. She's still being tortured. Blast it, why'd you have to teleport her here? I can't fix this."

[Thaidakar the Ghostblood he/him]

Soulmover sighed, "I wonder how we can heal her."

[NameIess]

"By the way, did everyone else on the quest die? Or did you just leave them behind?" Nameless glared at Soulmover. "Why do I get the feeling that it's the latter?"

[The Wandering Wizard he/him]

"I do not know as wounds like this inflicted by Dark one's tend to rarely be healable and usually corruptive. We all made it out for the most part." Replied Thom

Meanwhile, Unintelligible, 655, and Rep were back at the prison. Rep blinked. "What just happened?"

"There had to be a trade." Boomed a voice and all three of you counted as one Sequence.

[ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them]

"Really?" Everyone asked. "All of you are Narratorgeists, (one of the most powerful entities of all time), too?"

"What?! I didn't sign up for this!" Rep pulled out his chainsaw, then remembered he didn't have one anymore. "That backstabbing scum! I can't believe Soulmover would do this!" He glared up at the ceiling of the prison. "And no, we're not. At least I'm not. Unintelligible(?) isn't either." He looked sideways at 655 and moved away from him slightly. "He might be though. Not sure."

Everyone watched the three in the prison. "The hole you came in through it still open, you know." They said with a small smirk. "It is getting smaller though. I wonder if you can make it in time."

Thom stuck his bronze dagger into the hole and recreated the symbol.

The symbol flashed weakly, fading almost instantly.

"I hope your ready to fight the snake and fox people." Yelled Thom, "as your going to be stuck with them for an eternity if you can't reach the hole in time.

[NameIess]

"What hole? I can't even see it anymore!" Rep looked along the wall frantically. "Seriously, I think it's gone."

[ThroughTheLivingSequence she/her/they/them]

"If you get stuck in here, it'll be much worse than animal people." An odd distortion filled Everyone's voice in the middle of that sentence.
