Since you brought him up though I will note that I do consider adopted children and step-children the same as biological children and I will not specify whether or not a blood connection exists. If both parties acknowledge the other as parent/child then I consider them as such. So if this was Kiin I might mention that he has a married son, despite that son being his step-son.
