Hello everyone!

My name is Leandro and I'm from Brazil. I've read Oathbringer 5 days ago and I'm still processing the final of the book. What a storming mindblowing final!

I already read all books of Cosmere, so now I want a place to discuss some theories I have.

(And I need a nice place to train my writing in english, so I think this is the best place for that.).

Thank you!

Life before death.

Hello! Welcome to the Shard. Quick warning, there's a little bit of a turf war going on right now, so please accept my apologies in advance. What's your favourite cosmere book?

Thank you! But I want to stay with my Breath for now, sorry.

My favorite character is Dalinar Kholin. I identified with him in various parts of Oathbringer...

A war? Omg.
My favorite cosmere book is Oathbringer, but The Hero of Ages lives in my heart.

@leboralli if you would like to take a part in the war come to the Dark Alley, the war can be explained in more detail there.

Where I can find this Dark Alley? And why is there a war here?

@leboralli, Welcome, and have an upvote! The war is about people offering spiked cookies vs. people offering nonspiked cookies, when you really get down to it. Role-play wars and whatnot, silly stuff. Alternatively, you could have a penguin!*

You've  noticed their activity in the thread next door, no? Although I disagree with some of whats been said by DA representatives (they've glossed over the ethical aspects of their work), I do agree that this isn't the place to have a proper debate. I encourage you to take a look at some of the DA's thread, but lurk around a bit before committing. Some people who enter can't escape, and others, well, it was nice knowing you.

Thank you for the enlightenment, now I want to know more about this war.

Yeah, we wanted to give cookies to new members of the shard, then archer and company said that they were dangerous and soul stealing. We don't like slander and now there is a constant battle between our two groups. As they say in history class, history repeats itself. This has happened over and over again in the history of the 17th shard, you are witnessing the most recent iteration of it.

So I'm living the history now. Can I be a neutral person, just to be a witness of the war? Maybe to write a song about that.

@ElephantEarwax Honor is dead. :D

@leboralli Oathbringer and Hero of Ages were great books. Have you read all his published cosmere works?

Now I need to read White Sand, vol 1 and 2, to finish all the cosmere books. I'm really happy to complete the whole cosmere reading!

This needs more upvotes. So many more upvotes. I don’t mean Peter Ahlstrom level upvotes, I mean like TwylightSanSparkles level of upvotes. I mean, it’s got a penguin. Not to mention the epic Alcatraz reference and overall awesome comedic timing and cleverness!

And I mean TwylightSanSparkles total upvotes, not just how much a single post would get.

And it has a penguin.

Awwwww, @podman36, thank you! I also snuck (right tense?) a Les Miserables reference in there. I'd appreciate upvotes, specially ones that turn me uber-powerful. XD

Whoa. People are actually doing this. Thanks guys and gals! I appreciate your appreciation.

I see it now.

Rusts. Now I’m realizing that your post needs even more upvotes.

Hah, if you feel like giving it more upvotes then I'll try to share it with the newbies before @Archer or maybe @ElephantEarwax gets to them. Danke!
