Guinevere she/her
Hello there! I found my way to 17th Shard through Time-Waster's Guide, where I post sporadically about things until I'm corrected by people who know way way way more about the Cosmere than I do. Though, now that I think about it, that is rather shameful since I've been a fan of Brandon since the beginning (like the beginning beginning) when he was doing signings at the Waldenbooks in Provo Towne Centre and 20 people showed up for a short Q&A. Crazy. Anyway! Ever since then, he's been my hands-down favorite author. I just reread TWoK and it blew me away again. And since I can't get enough, I'll probably start in on Mistborn next. Seriously, if anyone else on here is a huge Hoid fanatic, we will find plenty in common; I cannot get enough of that crazy, cryptic world-hopper. A little more about me: No, my name is not actually Guinevere (unfortunately) but my real name is derived from it and probably a fourth of the female population on here has it...so you can most likely guess what it is, but please call me Guinevere. I just graduated from college with an English degree. You wouldn't believe the amount of job offers I get a day; I swear, I have to fend them off with a stick! Bloodsucking editors. I'm LDS, married, and live in Utah (surprise surprise), but I do my best not to be a walking stereotype. If it helps, I'm also a crazy, liberal, feminist. My favorite characters in the Cosmere (besides Hoid, or course) are probably Vin and Elend as a couple. I love their dynamic and their romance. I can't think of anything else. If you want to respond to anything I've said, please do. I'm always up for a conversation about Adonalsium and the Shardworlds. Oh, also, if you know of any way I could get my hands on a copy of Dragonsteel or Liar of Partinel, I would love you forever.
Zas678 he/him
Hello Guinivere! I'm impressed at how long you've been a fan. Welcome to the best place to show it off! I love Hoid too, and I am impressed with his persistence. Gods may come and go, but storytellers live forever. Oh! And one more thing- BYU Library has Dragonsteel. He turned it in for his thesis, so you can get it that way.

Any way to get it without shelling out 50 bucks? I just called and they said you can only check out books if you are a student or you become a "Friend of the Library"...which basically means I can get it if I fork out tuition or $50 a year. Hmmm... Chaos he/him
If you find a copy of Liar of Partinel, I would kill/bribe my way to get it. As far as I know, it's kept extremely under wraps. Ahem. Not that I kill or bribe people. Especially not at the same time. That would just be silly. Anyways, horrible first impressions aside, hi! I'm Chaos/Eric. I'm a math major, aspiring writer, Dr Pepper lover, and the self proclaimed Theorymaster, as well as the forum administrator. I'm pretty much on here way too much to be physically healthy. Good thing I have all those Breaths preventing me from getting sick! In case you couldn't tell, we're a little nerdy here. Glad you could join us! Eerongal he/him
Ahem. Not that I kill or bribe people. Especially not at the same time. That would just be silly. Of course you wouldn't, that's what you have lower staff members such as myself pressed into slavery on the team. Everyone knows the don doesn't do the dirty work in the mob! Anywho, welcome to 17shard! Since you visit twg on occasion you're likely to see quite a few familiar faces around!
Guinevere she/her
If you find a copy of Liar of Partinel, I would kill/bribe my way to get it. As far as I know, it's kept extremely under wraps. Darn! Though, I wouldn't blame you in the least bit. For the origin story of Hoid!? I would be right there, killing and bribing along with you, all moral and ethical thought thrown to the wayside. Sometimes I daydream about storming Brandon's house and forcing him to tell me everything he knows... though probably don't tell him that or they won't let me into the next signing. I found my way to 17th Shard through Time-Waster's Guide, where I post sporadically about things until I'm corrected by people who know way way way more about the Cosmere than I do. Only because of the wording, I totally have to correct you and say "cosmere" Anyway, hopefully the sense of humour comes through the internets, no I'm really not a grammar nazi! Welcome aboard!
