Necessary Eagle she/her
Why does Szeth still wear white robes? It makes him kinda noticeable- even Lift was able to identify him right away. And does he have extras, or has he been wearing the same outfit since WoR? Because that's just nasty.
Tetrisash
...RAFO? >_> Perhaps that's just how he identifies/sees himself still. He's never made a decision for himself until the end of Oathbringer, so maybe he'll get a new wardrobe soon, poor guy.

There was a point in WoK where he did not (the crime boss guy?) We can assume he has extras due to the lack of shardblade damage (both endings of his fight with Kal are canon last I checked, somehow) He probably wears them for the sake of making it clear who he is, seeing a near mythical entity coming at you would stop almost anyone non-lethally with no effort. Aleksiel
He was commanded to by the parshendi, it was their custom to send assassin in a way he can be seen, so the targer knew what was coming. After that Vargo made him continue to wear white slaughtering to ensure everybody made the connection. As to why he still does it, I thought it was for our benefit in ED, or may be a habit at this point. Otherwise I don't know. Bacon
He's been told when and where to go every moment since he left Shinovar, so he doesn't know or understand how or where people get new clothes. His character arc will conclude when Adolin introduces Szeth to his tailor

But why does he want people to know who he is, now that he's not Assassinating his way across Roshar anymore? The old him is dead- literally- and I'd think he wouldn't want to be associated with that person anymore. 39 minutes ago, Aleksiel said: As to why he still does it, I thought it was for our benefit in ED, or may be a habit at this point.
