I take the "we" being Odium and Rayse, or possibly just Odium and an unknown identity. The "you" referring to Honor. Odium was pissed/shocked when Dalinar was taking up part of Honor's power. Referring to Adonalsium or Evi just doesn't fit right with me at all.

I love this theory, would love to see it happen and I can picture it happening. I only wonder why Rock wouldn't say anything about being bonded, regardless of the type of spren.

My vote goes to Cusicesh being an Unmade. The actual Sibling though, hmm, I'm dying to find out. And witnessing what we did with Dalinar's bond with the Stormfather, I'd love to know what the other to-be Bondsmiths can do. I didn't notice this at all, that's awesome!

When that generation of knights learned the truth, Honor did not support them. He raved, speaking of the Dawnshards, ancient weapons used to destroy the Tranquiline Halls. Honor...promised that Surgebinders would do the same to Roshar."

As Mulk said, Odium has his own set of powers that's voidbinding. Wasn't it said their old world was destroyed by them using the Dawnshards, though?

Either Szeth or Jasnah. I'm guessing Szeth, since he was originally supposed to be book 3.

Favorite character and moment is Dalinar and Dalinar's "I am unity." I've always liked Dalinar, but Oathbringer made him my #1 (with Kal and Adolin tied for #2 now, ha). Before, I liked how honorable he was but to me that's all he was. An honorable man who I thought of as having a typical Alethi demeanor in the past but now is just the odd Alethi guy whose honor shtick is basically ignored by almost everyone else. Then Oathbringer fleshed him out and I was shown how much of a glorious person Dalinar truly is. A man who was addicted to the Thrill far more than was the "typical Alethi," a man who didn't feel like he was alive unless he was fighting and mowing enemies down, a man who was barely a father (especially to Renarin) or a husband, a man who ruthlessly burned down an entire city in his rage and whose wife went up in literal flames with it. That led to him realizing the kind of man he was and falling to depression and alcoholism, then to seeking out magic for his forgiveness because he didn't have the tools for it himself. All of which led up to the most amazing moment. His memory recovered, in the clutches of Odium who promised to take away his pain. Instead of going the emotionally easy route, he stood back up and took responsibility for every little thing he's done in the past, vowing to keep moving forward even with the mistakes of his past. One of the simplest lines but one I love completely: "Forgiven. The pain he'd so recently insisted that he would keep started to fade away on its own." Sorry for the long-winded post, but storms, I love Dalinar so much now, for Oathbringer fully brought to light how much of a truly strong person he is in the areas that matter the most.

isn't Ishar the one that gave Nalan the bright idea that killing Radiants would help keep the Desolation from happening? Would explain where Nalan got that whack logic from if Ishar is working with Odium.

For some clarification, maybe I'm missing it, but do we have any more light shed on the Sons of Honor and the Ghostbloods? The Sons of Honor, through Amaram, I got the impression their society has the goal of helping the Listeners reclaim their world from the humans. The Diagram, I feel it was Taravangian's plan the whole time to unite all he could and be the human leader under Odium's rule. The Ghostbloods are still ??? to me. Maybe the only secret society that doesn't suck?

Eshonai was the most surprising for me, but Elhokar was by far the one that hit me hardest. My heart still gives a little twist when I think about it.
