ZenBossanova
I noticed this article on Coconut Crabs, that can hunt birds in trees (if you are squeamish, you are forewarned). Their claws are strong enough to open coconut seeds. When I saw this, I was reminded of the fauna of Roshar, and just how much they could be capable of.
Walin
Sick, yo! I kind of forgot that cremlings are basically cool crabs with six legs and no pincers (or are those songlings?)
Steeldancer
Have you ever seen what happens when a Mantis Shrimp fights a Crab? just saying, if I had a spirit animal, I would want it to be a Mantis Shrimp

Weltall
Mantis shrimp are inherently Awesome, in the Liftian sense. Heck, I'm sure that if you stuck them on Roshar, with the right spren they could even replicate the cavitation bubbles. Now there's a thought, Rosharan domesticated (giant) mantis shrimp with fabrials replicating the Surge of Adhesion, for the atmospheric pressure effects. Coolest guard pet ever. NightFrost
Guys I was just on Wikipedia looking up mantis shrimps look what I found, "the eyes of a mantis shrimp carry 16 types of color receptive cones." The significance of the number 16 proves it somewhere there are mantis shrimps in the Cosmere
PhineasGage
On top of that, Brandon mentioned that in some ways he wrote Roshar to be like an underwater world - where the plants are like sea anemones, able to retract their leaves, the chulls, cremplings and chasmfiends are essentially invertebrates with exokeletons, the storm is a bit like a wave regularly washing over the land a the shore etc.
