Steeldancer he/him Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 So if re-shepnir is the analogue to lightweavers, i think this is what the elsecaller one will be- it assimilates people into itself. Like the blob. The opposite of Soulcasting.
ScavellTane Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 I'm more interested in the other two that we know, Death-Rattle and Thrill, what are they analogues of?
Blacksmithki Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 The nightmother feels less opposite and more like a corrupted Radient, it creates illusions to cause fear and chaos instead of moral support.
Steeldancer he/him Posted October 31, 2017 Author Posted October 31, 2017 My guesses for analogues- Moelach- Truthwatcher The black Fisher- Willshaper Thrill unmade- dustbringer
Stark he/him Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Death rattles could be truthwatchers - Renarin was leaving cryptic messages. And the death rattles were cryptic as well, potentially laced with just enough truth and misinformation to be dangerous for someone, like say Taravangian, to listen to, or you know, have an underground death camp dedicated to recording and compiling. The thrill is more interesting. It mildly subverts the will of the combatant, making the a temporary beserker, who cares naught for friend or foe. It breaks the bonds between allies, and makes everything a competition, where there are no allies, only worthy foes. SO the anti-bondsmith, as it does nothing for unity? Or the anti Willshaper? 2

Well, breaking bonds feels more opposite then corrupted, I think it would be more likly the opposite of an order that encourages others to fight, but sadly lightweavers are taken, do we know of any others that did that? The reason I prefer corrupted to opposite is because that is really the sense I get from the unmade we saw, and same with the death rattles being more like corrupted truth watchers then opposite.
ScavellTane Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 Its odd that the Diagram implicitly states that the Unmade are harmless.

Scriptorian he/him Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 While there obviously seems to be a connection between Lightweavers and the Midnight Mother...smoke is the essence associated with Skybreakers, and they're not even directly opposite Lightweavers on the chart. Darn you Unmade for not lining up perfectly with Vorin mysticism! *shakes fist* 1
ScavellTane Posted October 31, 2017 Posted October 31, 2017 They probably correspond to the voidbinding chart instead.
