What if You Were the Only Person on Earth for 24 Hours?

Saw a video about what would happen if everyone except yourself vanished. Well let's make this fun and assume everyone else vanished for a whole day, what would you do?

So that nothing, no matter how heinous, is limited here's some rules:

1. Assume that all vehicles (trains, planes, buses) were fully automated to take you anywhere.

2. Anything you steal would legally belong to you, points from store benefits would still apply and online purchases will be yours for free.

3. Tv, movie theaters, theme parks and restaurants would still work just fine.

Addendum: On account of @Darkness_ I'm adding a rule: 4. Whatever power that is holding everyone is also keeping you from hurting or killing yourself like an idiot.

Here's my solo day: I would start by raiding B&N and the Lego Store for books and Lego sets I would want but couldn't otherwise. Then I would hop on a plane to head to someplace like London or Tokyo. En route I would do some online shopping to get stuff I couldn't from my earlier raid, maybe even hack the bank to fill up my bank account to live comfortably for the rest of my life. Once I land I'd check into a hotel, maybe the presidential suite, and go to sleep.

Zipline through the Amazon, run up and down my street singing at the top of my lungs, run up Washington Monument, ride a bullet train, drive on the Autobahn. Raid my local ice cream store and try all the flavors.

Meh, 24 hours is simply not enough, and going to theme parks or such are just not fun without people to be around and people to enjoy it with.

Ok besides stealing Sandersons stuff, hmmm. I feel like I would raid comic book stores...

Wait. I work at a grocery store. I would go there and raid the Oreos, nutella, cheezits, and other delicious things. Cheese. And (hopefully the internet is still working) I would watch YouTube all day. Or read those sanderson files i stole.

I don't think I could go to a theme park. It's A Small World without anyone operating the ride and only me riding it sounds like something out of a creepy supernatural horror movie.

This is how I think it would go when everyone came back.

Me: Oh, hey mom. You had to work late again tonight?

Mom: You do realize everyone else on Earth has been trapped in another dimension for the past 24 hours, right?

Me: Huh. Guess I missed that. I've been reading and watching YouTube all day.

I would enjoy a nice quiet day at home :) It'd be like the time from 11pm-2am usually is but all day instead of just late at night.

A boring answer I know, but true nonetheless :P

Edit: I'd probably practice singing (loudly) at some point, maybe more loudly than usual while walking the dog, but that's not really that different.

Probably just walk around and marvel at all the empty streets, take a ton of reference photographs, and treat myself to a large serving of Frozen Yoghurt from the Froyo Bar in city. If noone was there to charge me I could just throw on all the toppings I've ever dreamed of. Yesss!

I can't believe none of the rest of you want your hands on Sandersons stuff.

I think I wouldn't. I know everything he does goes through multiple drafts, and while there's a part of me that would really love to see what there is so far, I think overall, I'd prefer to see the finished product instead. When I read White Sand, I actually picked up on things that were revealed later in the book. I almost NEVER do that with Sanderson's books. And I imagine that it might be the same with drafts--without the full Brandon polish, I might figure things out and then not get the big reveal later.

Or maybe I'm taking this question too seriously. :P

But, everyone is *dead*

No, just gone for 24 hours. Otherwise, this just became way too sad. And all the stealing would just be pointless. :D

Ok i thought everyone was dead. Revision.

I would still steal his stuff. And then I would no longer frequent the shard, being forever spoiled by my own impulsivity.

I don't think I would loot too much though. Besides a grocery store. I might accidentally leave some nasty things for some of the people I really hate, for when they get back...

I might loot many phone stores. Sell all those super expensive phones at a discount, making me money. And getting a new phone.
