[OB] Why a Reverse Everstorm is significant

To me, this sounds like it's possible storms had been used before, but this is the first one that goes in the opposite direction. Old in design, as it is a storm, but new in form, as it goes the wrong way.

If was a discussion between Eshonai and Venli, discussing how the power to summon storms has been used before.

It's new. The idea has been in the works for ages, but it's never before been implemented. 

It’s really all speculation but u hopped around the point that Jasnah said that supported my argument . She said the Everstorm was new but of old design “ what does it do? It allows the Fused to take host , change forms , and I’m assuming gain investiture . I’m ok being wrong ! I just think it does have something to with it. Also I have seen it say that Everstorm do not charge gems with stormlight ! I have never say it doesn’t provide any type of investiture . I would like to see that if u know where it is . Thx

It is implied that the Fused can return because there is Everstorm that revives them, and in earlier Desolations they had to go to Braize. I could belive that there was a storm in the past but it certanly wasnt returning.
