Well? Who would win? It's difficult, because while a Mistborn is more agile and quick (most of the time ^_^), a Radiant would have a shardblade/honorblade. And, it would depend on how much Stormlight/Metals they had. Also, if the mistborn had any of the temporal metals, that would give another advantage. Also (if the Radiant had enough Stormlight), the Radiant could heal themselves.

So, what do you think?

Honestly, it kind of depends on which Order of Radiants we're talking about here. It also really depends on the setting, as a Mistborn would do better in a crowded city while a Radiant would do much better on a mostly open battlefield. My bet would be Radiant, depending on the order.

Also, welcome to the Shard!

striker ez makes some great points, for the surges in particular i think that  quite a few would help in  dealing with the agile mistorn ,  Jashnah has been shown to be able to transmute from a distance and the lashings from gravitation would help as well. also I belive that shard, plate and blade cannot be pushed due to them being invested (kinda like coinshots can't push on hemalurgic spikes or filled bracers) and i do not think that the plate would recive any damage from coins .

then again duralamin plus emotional alomancy could brove effective and atium could help the mistborn put a dagger through the faceplate . and now that i think of it stormlight does run out prety fast .....

bottomline i don't know

also welcome to the shard , @Kaladinwillumarryme? , have an upvote and a cooky

There's another thread going with the same topic and ^ basically summarises things. There are so many variables that one outcome isn't necessarily possible to determine. However speculating different outcomes and how they happen can be a lot of fun.

Edit: sorry to sound like a buzzkill.

Yeah this question has been coming up a lot lately and this is the second that I've seen in the intro threads. Please keep in mind that these are supposed to be a spoiler free section of the forums, this thread isn't too bad as of yet but topics like these are more appropriate to the cosmere theories board.

@StrikerEZ if it was a windrunner, (Kaladin) they would win. I would love to see a duel between Kal and Vin!

Well I think it depends on the skill of the mistborn/radiant, Their overall experience ,and which order of radiant we are talking about. For instance if it were Shallan against Vin I think Vin would win. If it were Kaladin against Vin .... I think they would both end up seriously injured and it would depend on where they were and how much metal/stormlight they had. The location does matter as well because if there isn't much metal around the mistborn wouldn't be able to push or pull leaving those two rather useless.

@Wiggs I agree. Though I would personally root for Kaladin. :lol:Kaladin!  Kaladin!

It doesn't help that my favorite books are the SA and my favorite character in all of the Cosmere is Kaladin. The rest of the Cosmere (Of what I have read) is still awesome.

@Smart Sloth yeah it is hard not to use favoritism. Shallan possibly could totally kick Vins butt ...but since i don't really like Shallan and i do like Vin i am going to lean towards Vin.

for the Vin against Kaladin though ..well syl is my favorite character Vin and Kaladin are about equal so all i could come up with was a draw depending on circumstances. It would be cool if Brandon wrote a short story on a radiant and a mistborn meeting and fighting.
