Now hear me out here, surgebinders have to be a huge advantage for Honor and Cultivation, what's to stop Odium from having his own surgebiners that have bonded with spren that ally with him? If so, then I can totally see Sedeas, forming a bond to try and gain power.
Morsk he/him Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Well, dung is mentioned only three times in Way of Kings: Syl leads Rock to a patch dung instead of knobweed reeds. Rock mentions putting chull dung in Sadeas' food. Tien and Kal discuss dungspren. #2 and #3 must be connected, and foreshadowing Sadeas' connection with dungspren! And #1 is a red herring, obviously. Or because it's a spren, Syl, leading Rock to the dung, it's more foreshadowing of the importance of dungspren to the plot... I should probably stop this. The last time I posted a theory as a joke, I ended up believing it. 3

AerionBFII he/him Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I think Sadeas will attract a dark spren. I think he does what he does for a reason and does care for Elhokar but i think he will slowly turn darker maybe by odium infecting him via the thrill or a dark spren tainting him. 2

The thing is, as much as I hate Sadeas, he's not an idiot, or a coward, which makes him a better villain. So don't sully Sedeas' name by associating him with that prick Joffrey.
