(He wanted to die) Warbreaker spoilers Spoiler Except those mental faults weren't really due to the simple fact that he was immortal, but moreso because he went through a really terrible point in his life which permanently affected it. The only other part immortality played in that is that it gave him time to actually have those events occur in his life, and possibly allow them to amplify over the years, but overall it's tangential. Also Would you two kindly mind going back and throwing spoilers over all the blatant Stormlight Archives spoilers and the less blatant but still fairly significant Warbreaker spoilers, including those in quotes? This is the Mistborn sub-forum. @Sheridan_rd @Kingsdaughter613

I do it in chrome. If not, it can wait until you're at a computer, but just be aware. Edited March 4, 2017 by Spoolofwhool

You can just put [*spoiler] in front of the spoiler text, and [*/spoiler] after (remove the asterisks), and that works no matter what type of browser you're working in.
Kingsdaughter613 she/her Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 (edited) Thank you for the compliment! Denth is depressed, not crazy. And he may not even be clinically depressed. Working in the mental health field I really hate the term 'crazy' or 'insane.' It's both insulting and vague. Maybe we could use another term? Generally I consider the word insane to be in reference to psychotics. Denth is many things, but not psychotic. His thoughts and plans are rational and organized; he does not have delusions or show signs of disorganized thinking. So I don't really consider him 'crazy.' I was unaware anything I posted was a spoiler. Both books came out years ago and are no longer considered spoiler territory. Also, the differing psychoses of the Heralds do not spoil plot points - with the possible exception of Nail which was why that was in a spoiler. Edited March 5, 2017 by Kingsdaughter613 1
Weltall Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 It has nothing to do with when the books come out, it has to do with the fact that they're not Mistborn. The general policy is that when on a board dedicated to a specific series, anything from a work outside that series should be tagged. And now you know.
Kingsdaughter613 she/her Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Ah, got it! I've seen lots of discussions that bring up other books on here though so I'm a bit confused. I fixed the Warbreaker spoiler; it now only makes sense if you've read the book. I can't put it in spoiler tags from my mobile or I'd do that.

They don't need any spoilers which is why I like posting there series-specific fora need spoilers for other series.

Quote For an individual book or series forum, spoiler tags must always be used if one is referencing another series (like, if someone is posting in Mistborn, but referencing Stormlight Archive). It really doesn't matter how plot-relevant your reference is, please use spoilers. It's just a courtesy and in my opinion, a good precaution to make sure you don't accidentally drop actual plot-relevant stuff. Additionally, just because you don't consider it important, doesn't mean that someone else doesn't. I know for a fact that going forward into a book I'm really looking forward to, I would prefer to have no forward knowledge of, even if said knowledge isn't that significant. You can add spoiler tags manually so there's no excuse for not doing so.
