Hello, I'm new here (but you could probably tell that already). I go by Ecthelion III (but you could also probably tell that already).

 

I am a huge fan of Sanderson's. I've read both Stormlight books and the 6 released Mistborns, and I just picked up Elantris today.

 

I am also a roleplayer and a fan of forum games in general, and would like to get into Sanderson Elimination at some point. The learning curve looks really steep, though, so it may be a while before I can.

 

(Also, whenever I try to put an image in my signature, it says: Unable to retrieve signature image dimensions, please try another image. Help?)

There are 7 Mistborn books, i think you missed Secret History :-). Also, have a cookie ;-).

I haven't been able to get my hands on a copy of Secret History yet.

I've been warned that the cookies contain Hemalurgic spikes. Are they zinc and already imbued with power? Cause I think I'm slightly insane

TWG is Timewaster's Guide. It used to be the fan forum until it crashed in 2011

WoB is Words of Brandon (right?) 

IIRC is If I Recall Correctly 

RAFO is a term Sanderson uses sometimes when answering questions. It means Read And Find Out

Word of Brandon without the s, technically. It means something he's said in an interview or q and a, essentially canon for the most part. 

 

Welcome Ecthelion! I don't know the Tolkein story so in my head you're an Eevee evolution  love the profile pic. 

 

There's also book name abbreviations eg

TFE = the final empire (Mistborn 1)

WoA = well of ascension 

SA Stormlight archive 

WoR words of radiance 

etc. 

where there other ones in particular you wanted to know? You can always ask in-thread and someone will help you out.
