Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I totally forgot that Twi had mod powers here for a moment and I was wondering who ninja'd in those edits before me since I was on my phone. Never forget the power that the Twi has. 1
Voidus Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Never forget the power that the Twi has. Now the question is, do Reckoners RPers take the spiderman approach or the Deadpool approach to what kind of responsibility comes with great power?
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Now the question is, do Reckoners RPers take the spiderman approach or the Deadpool approach to what kind of responsibility comes with great power? ...That's still a question? I mean first of all you got it backwards, for us it is "with great insanity comes great power." 2
Voidus Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 ...That's still a question? I mean first of all you got it backwards, for us it is "with great insanity comes great power." I thought it was 'with great insanity comes great sparkly pancake showers' 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 I thought it was 'with great insanity comes great sparkly pancake showers' Tose two statements are perfectly synonym, for all power leads to sparkly pancake showers, when properly channeled through insanity. 2
Bladestorm Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Tose two statements are perfectly synonym, for all power leads to sparkly pancake showers, when properly channeled through insanity. Im pretty sure sparkly pancake showers are the definition of being perfectly sane.
Fatebreaker he/him Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 What would his be? Trumps weakness would be anyone with small hands 2
Bladestorm Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 (edited) CALAMITY SPOILERS So whats our take on twins and motivators?Because i have an idea for the wastelands. A group called the pentacle, who are a set of quintuplets with speed, strength, agility and dexterity abilities, as well as gifting. Their mother always called them things 1 through 5 as a joke, but it actually became their nicknames. They have each amassed a group of 10 others who they gift to. These men and women are elite soldiers, who can run twice as fast, lift twice as much, have enhanced senses, more endurance, pain and otherwise, and are just all around better. When you join, you are given a number. So if you are 4-8 then you are in Epic 4s squad, and are ranked eighth out of ten for position in the squad. The only way to move up in position is for people ahead of you in rank to die. They are a group if mercenaries, and have a base in a hidden location in the outback. An epic known as sustenance supplies food and clean water for the group. The Five leaders are each equally powerful, and about twice as powerful as those they gift, so about 4 times as powerful as your average man. They all have military training, and are exceedingly hard to kill due to skin that's almost bulletproof. They are harsh men, and kill their soldiers for the slightest things, but otherwise are relatively untouched by the darkness. Their followers are fanatical(Possibly the result of another power, although thats not really necessary) and will never betray them.So they would just kinda hang out around the outback unless anyone needs someone dead( i remember something about a group of gifted speeders?) and wouldn't need a city to be in, but the problem is that canonically they would have killed eachother pretty fast. An excuse could be that passive abilities dobt set off the pain, but thats almost less likely than our universe being another core possibility. Edited March 28, 2016 by Voidus
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 The answer is put that in the spoiler threath for Calamity and not unspoiled in the question.
mail-mi he/him Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 (edited) Twi, I think it's your turn with Vaughn. Unless you want to discuss what happens in the conversation in a PM and skip it all. Also, did we ever decide anything about the bus chase? Edited March 29, 2016 by mail-mi
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Twi, I think it's your turn with Vaughn. Unless you want to discuss what happens in the conversation in a PM and skip it all. Also, did we ever decide anything about the bus chase? I think Comatose wanted to contact Mailliw and do a Taylor post after that?
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 Also I just remembered, Mestiv, with Buttercup and Kenshin leaving we can finally start working on them meeting up with Argon. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted March 30, 2016 Author Posted March 30, 2016 Twi, I think it's your turn with Vaughn. Unless you want to discuss what happens in the conversation in a PM and skip it all. Also, did we ever decide anything about the bus chase? Sorry, I know it's been my turn forever there.
Mestiv he/him Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Also I just remembered, Mestiv, with Buttercup and Kenshin leaving we can finally start working on them meeting up with Argon. Yes! Finally!
Edgedancer he/him Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Yes! Finally! It is time to unleash the cake.:
RippleGylf she/her Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 I leave the forums for four days, and a new Question thread appears? To be honest, I expected there to already be twenty pages. So, I'm currently working on my first Candyflame post, but before that I'll probably post something to wrap up the Heartsleeve conversation in Salem so Sentry can pay attention to Vandal. Sound good?
Mestiv he/him Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Weirdpersonx convinced me to turn Drainer into a PoV character for a moment, so we can have interaction between him and ThunderSpear. However I don't consider Drainer as my regular character and I'll try to avoid writing his PoV's.

However I don't consider Drainer as my regular character and I'll try to avoid writing his PoV's. And for a moment I thought it was a Argon post. Anyway, how do we want to go about that, just the SUV pulling up dramatically next to him, the window sliding down and the camera slowly panning on a sunglasses wearing Buttercup telling him they need to talk? 1
The Swan Dragon he/him Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Just an update on the Drainer and ThunderSpear, we're currently in a Google Doc and working on that. Not sure exactly when it will be done but it is coming along nicely. Lot's of fun stuff for sure.

Not sure exactly when it will be done but it is coming along nicely. Lot's of fun stuff for sure. Teasing us with the good stuff, are you? Don't worry, I like the good stuff. Also for the Wasteland people, the doc doesn't seem that active anymore, so how do you go about setting up colabs and the like currently?
Mestiv he/him Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 And for a moment I thought it was a Argon post. Anyway, how do we want to go about that, just the SUV pulling up dramatically next to him, the window sliding down and the camera slowly panning on a sunglasses wearing Buttercup telling him they need to talk? Well, Argon is slowly walking with Rick by the side of the road, wearing a khaki poncho with a hood to protect from rain. He looks very un-Epic like at the moment. It would be hillarious if you drove by and miss them a couple of times to later stop by and ask if they've seen anyone looking like Argon 1
Bladestorm Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 (edited) I know this is off topic but i was just reminded that alkali mentals burn underwater. Would one of the more science-knowledgable of you guys tell me if theres any possible epic application of this? Theres a few water manipulators, so i thought itd be cool. Also, maybe manipulation of alkaline earth metals? Thats essentially what they put in fireworks. Edited March 30, 2016 by Bladestorm

Also, maybe manipulation of alkaline earth metals? Thats essentially what they put in fireworks. Not really, alkali metals are kindof difficult to keep, they have a habit of bursting into flames if you don't store them properly since the humidity in the air is still water. You need to keep them in a sealed container in a suspension of oil. Now a transmuter like Funtimes could do some things with them if she were so inclined.
Comatose he/him Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I think Comatose wanted to contact Mailliw and do a Taylor post after that? YES! Sorry! I spoke with Mailliw and I think I have someting figured out. I'll post with Taylor soon. On the subject of Trump, he announced his candidacy in June of 2015. Since the capitulation Act was passed some time that year, I'm assuming if it wasn't passed by then, people would have had a lot more to worry about than an election, and Trump might never have ran. Calamity, what have you robbed us of by not coming? Answer - Nighthound. IS Trump as a presidential candidate > Nighthound? A fair trade? 2
