I would like to never hear about him again unless he gains some depth beyond one-armed Herdazian jokes. Or jokes of any kind, really.

But then, I also dislike Wayne and hate the Stick, so...

I think you give Lopen to little credit if more people in were to look at life like he does i think we'd find ourselves a lot happier with life. I relate with the way he tells jokes it's his defense mechanism against the jibes and ridicule of others. I like to believe that he represents courage and understanding, i think that should he gain a spren companion, it would be a courage spren because to wake up every day knowing that the world around you is likely to stare and look down at you is the hardest most terrifying thing in the world to do. in my eyes he is the the anti-bully in this saga.

What if Lopen is a proto-Radiant? I realize he's probably a squire, but that probably won't keep him from bonding a spren.

I'd like to see Lopen stick - sorry - couldn't resist - the stick made me do it

At some point, his predictions should be realized.  An actual, living woman should say to him:

"Lopen, I know that you're a Herdazian who has lost limbs in the past, but I see that you can glow.  You should kiss me now."

Beyond that, I see him drifting a bit out of Kaladin's orbit as he shepherds his family and cousins safely through the Desolation.  The Herdazian Cousins becomes an auxilliary group providing aid and shelter to Kaladin's other squires at times of need.  At some point, Kaladin does something that endangers Lopen's family, a rift forms between them, and Lopen loses his squire powers.  At the last minute, Kaladin's in danger, Lopen reconciles, and a herd of Herdazians comes riding to the rescue.

that sounds like it could be it's own novel the adventures of lopen

It also sound like it would be an interesting read if he loses half the one armed jokes

Squires are traditionally apprentices or attendants under the tutelage of Knights with potential to become one themselves.

Maybe that's how it was done before in the Windrunner Order before the Recreance.

An extremely diverse character how would you like to see him grow over the books
