Red Ferring he/him
You start, but then give up because, "who cares. I don't want to do this anymore". Storing determination is like tapping apathy, right? food for thought.

Yata he/him
Either this, or it's hard to stop storing determination, because...who cares? well someone may put you at sleep to stop your determination storage. You have to be awake to store Determination (and quite all the other Attributes) Edited March 17, 2016 by Yata
natc
well someone may put you at sleep to stop your determination storage. You have to be awake to store Determination (and quite all the other Attributes) You have realized this reassuring fact about feruchemy and decided to take a nap. It fills you with determination.Electrum is ripe for Undertale jokes Edited March 18, 2016 by natc
baby he/him
Can someone die from storing luck too hard? Wish we got more ferrings for metals relatively new to the series.
DrakeMarshall he/him
I wonder, how in the lord ruler's name does luck storage actually work?I would guess that there is a lower bound to what you can store. But maybe not. Maybe you can store so much luck that you get struck by lightning on a sunny day and fall over dead. Depending on whether luck storage is what it seems to be, compounding it would be absurdly powerful. I wonder if the lord ruler knew about that when vin killed him... I suppose vin had the backing of preservation itself though.

Alfa he/him
Luck compounding can be pretty funny in newspapers: All of Mr. Erikell's enemies get struck by lightning at the same time. Sun was shining. Except one - who was hit by a car driven by a voidbringer. He also won a jackpot of fifty millions, found the love of his life and solved the Voynich-code by accident. DeadFencer
I was thinking about having storing determination kill you by making you unable to stop storing (for my post on how storing all of a given attribute at once would kill you for most metals) by then I realized something. Eventually the metalmind would fill (probably quickly if you're storing a bunch of the attribute at once) which would stop the storing for you. So you'd be fine as long as the metalmind wasn't too big.

Oversleep
If you stored all the determination you had, what determination would you have to continue storing it? But on the other hand, what determination would you have to stop doing it? It is far easier to just continue what you were doing instead of making all these pointless decisions... Yeah both the outcome are possible, but I was thinking: If It's possible storing all your Determination, to became so Apathetic that you can't generate the "Cognitive component" to made a Magic System works. mattig89ch he/him
good point oversleep. Though if we're talking that kind of determination, why would you want to store it? What good would it do?
Rasarr she/her
good point oversleep. Though if we're talking that kind of determination, why would you want to store it? What good would it do? You store determination while doing something you like, then tap it when there are nine whole pages of maths homework to work through... Ah, you see, after the eighteenth page, I really need to tap some determination to power through the last nine... It's the high school final exams period, that's why

Save up determination for the rest of the exam learning (I sympathize with you...but really, only 27 pages? Kids those days have it easy, I was doing 27 pages weekly! )

So you'd be fine as long as the metalmind wasn't too big. I am fairly sure Brandon has stated that there are limits on how much of certain attributes can be stored at a time. E.g. If you store 100% of your mental quickness (or whatever Zinc is for Feruchemists) then wouldn't you just drop dead from brain inactivity or something? Therefore only X% can be stored. Someone help a fellow out with the relevant WoB link please and thank you.
