He'll think it sounds reasonable, but in a later scene, have him actually ask an american wizard about it and repsonse something like, "Oh, you've read that book? It's garbage. Written by some British Witch who didn't do much research. Here, take this book. It's way better." 6

This leaves two options: -Either Hoid was on Equestria as a human, meaning Lyra's human obsession comes from fact, or -Hoid used light weaving to make himself look like a pony and blend right in. I'm not sure which I want more. I just want pony world hoppers. 1
