But I haven't seen the new ride so I can't say much. Though I'm actually glad they're updating it. It might be a much better ride, even though it was pretty good before.

KChan she/her Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Pirates of the Carribbean hasn't changed much at all. There are just little cameos, like the dog with the jail keys. Also, I don't have much to say about Star Tours. I tried it once, but got horribly motion sick and had to lie down on a bench outside the ride for a good 5-10 minutes afterward. It's a shame; I enjoyed the ride, but I won't be able to try out the new one.
Silus - Shard of Flame he/him Posted June 7, 2011 Author Posted June 7, 2011 Actually, the dog with the keys was in the ride first, and is one of the callbacks to the ride in the movie. It's the Jack Sparrow appearances that are the movie references.
KChan she/her Posted June 7, 2011 Posted June 7, 2011 Huh, really. I only rode that ride once before the movie came out, when I was like six, so I don't really remember. The other, non-Pirates cameos are fun too. At one point you can see what looks a lot Mr. Smee and Wendy.
