These ones not particularly. They can be delicious if made right though.

The doughnuts are much better this year. It's like all the bakeries have forgotten about bread and cake and just putting all their efforts into making as many varieties as they can. Cheesecake doughnuts. Strawberry doughnuts. Caramel. Chocolate. With sprinkles on top. With chocolate on top. They're so pretty and the choice is paralysing. (Unless you buy them all and are prepared to be super unhealthy for a week )

Sounds like they'd be hard to pull off. Kind of like giant anything--they can be amazing, or they can just be big.

So yesterday I friend and I went to grab a doughnut each. We bought 6.

Classic jam (jelly) can be great, but sometimes they're a bit bleh, maybe because all the effort goes into fancy ones.

Hmm. Caramel is good. Chocolate is great. Cheesecake is by far the most interesting, but I'm not exactly desperate to go buy another, y'know?

They're just all so pretty.

Come to Israel during Chanuka and you won't have to be jealous. Just very full and very fat. :ph34r: :P
