I don't think the months will be bad. The holiday will make Dec fly by. I should be moving in January which will be an ungodly pain and take all of time. Then Brian McClellan's new book comes out in February. When I'm feeling the burn I've always got the 17th Shard here to entertain me. Plus there's gonna be a butt load of preview chapters coming out I'm sure for us to all obsess over (more Shallan please)!

I don't hold the gap for writing the WoT against him at all, but I'm glad the wait is almost over. Just a few more months!

 

And I'm sure the book will be awesome enough to be worth the wait.

I blame myself. I knew it was a risk buying Way of Kings before he'd finished The Wheel of Time, unfortunately after reading Mistborn I couldn't resist.

 

I wonder if there's any chance of us getting a proper sneak peek of the prologue and first chapter (like some authors do) in order to further whet our appetite?

There's a decent chunk of the book already revealed in the Steelhunt. 1 regular chapter, 1 interlude and 1 diagram. + Obviously Rysn's interlude that Brandon streamed on Youtube.

 

That said, I'm sure Tor will put out the first ~5 chapters in the weeks preceding releaese, just like Rithmatist or Steelheart.

I hope they release chapters like they did for way of kings. From June to August we had the prologue and 10 of Kaladin's chapters. How about it TOR

Serious I will really have to hit rhe gym to lift this monster for several days I need  build up a lillte muscle =)  God bless MR. Sanderson and the fact that he didn't keep his word in not make a WOR biger than WOK =)
