TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Hear that, Kobold? That's the sound of an Obliteration pony comic begging to be made. I second this.
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I promise to bribe you with upvotes.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 I promise to bribe you with upvotes. And pictures of Bruce.
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 And a free punch to Reader. Or imagine Reader being dropped from a very large hight. I also just started to wonder how Shiny's free fall flirting would work with a certain second era Mistborn character. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 Hey, Edge? Any advice for when your mom starts acting like Lucentia?
Blaze1616 he/him Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Newspaper on the nose? ...or was that only for dogs....?
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Hey, Edge? Any advice for when your mom starts acting like Lucentia? With or without the murder of innocents? Because even being a horribly whiny person doesn't lead to the murder solution.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 With or without the murder of innocents? Because even being a horribly whiny person doesn't lead to the murder solution. No murder, just blaming me for Mollie's jealousy of Bruce. Some choice quotes: "On top of everything else, I'm losing my dog, and all because I helped you!" "I think prevention could've stopped this, but it's too late now. You spoiled her rotten, and now she likes you best." "You may as well just take her with you when you move out!" And, okay, I get it. Mollie's jealousy is upsetting her. Understandable. But don't hold me responsible for this. Don't insinuate that I wanted this to happen when I didn't. Don't paint yourself as the helpless victim when you're blaming me for your dog's choices. 2

Yes, it is absolutely your fault that she hasn't been treating her dog well enough to be her favourite. Shame on you for daring to be nice to a pug, it's not like those animals deserve it. Anyway, I'm afraid there isnt really any advice I can give you except trying to turn of your brain and just letting it wash over you. 1

Anyway, I'm afraid there isnt really any advice I can give you except trying to turn of your brain and just letting it wash over you. And the thing is, she has been nice to Mollie….it's just that I was a little nicer. Like with the shoes thing. Sometimes my mom will thank Mollie for the shoes; sometimes, she'll take the shoes away or ignore her entirely. I praise her and thank her. I'm not trying to pat myself on the back; I'm just saying that….I guess I depend on those pugs a little more. Seeing Bruno and Mollie happy could be the thing that turns my day around, so I'd try to make them happy. If my mom doesn't want to pay attention to Mollie, she won't; if she does, she will. That's what I've been trying to do. There's no winning against Lucentia, powers or no; no matter what, she'll always be the victim in her own mind. So I'm upstairs now, looking for jobs to apply for that will take me far away from this crap.

I'm afraid that sitting over here in germany I can't really do anything but wish you good luck.

I'm afraid that sitting over here in germany I can't really do anything but wish you good luck. I'll take it anyway. And if you wouldn't mind sending out some good thoughts about the Neenah job, since it pays well and it's in a really pretty area that's a good distance from Spokane.... 2

Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Neenah, Neenah, Neenah! I feel like we should have a new RP for wherever Twi gets a job. What happened in Neenah is a bit to weird though.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 16, 2015 Author Posted October 16, 2015 What Happened in Neenah: "Neenah, Neenah, Neenah! I have a waffle and yo-ou don't!" "Funtimes, you have been repeating that inane taunt for the last twenty minutes." 2

Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Reading through question 8, I have decided that I am the least badchull person in the RP. Oh well.

I also just started to wonder how Shiny's free fall flirting would work with a certain second era Mistborn character. Shadows of Self Spoilers: That wouldn't happen to be MeLaan would it? Or were you talking about Wayne?
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Shadows of Self Spoilers: That wouldn't happen to be MeLaan would it? Or were you talking about Wayne? I was thinking about Steris, the one person with a hights fetish but those two would be interesting as well.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 (edited) I'm reading a book snark of Red Queen, a book about an alt-Earth world where a superpowered ruling class (Silvers) oppresses the nonpowered peasant class (Reds). The premise is already enough like Reckoners that every time the snarker mentions healing Silvers waiting in the wings to heal their fellow Silvers after sparring matches, my first thought is, "But…but Epics can't gift to….oh." Voidus Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 I'm reading a book snark of Red Queen, a book about an alt-Earth world where a superpowered ruling class (Silvers) oppresses the nonpowered peasant class (Reds). The premise is already enough like Reckoners that every time the snarker mentions healing Silvers waiting in the wings to heal their fellow Silvers after sparring matches, my first thought is, "But…but Epics can't gift to….oh." Arena matches? So the book takes place in Salem? Oh wait...
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 17, 2015 Author Posted October 17, 2015 I'm now imaging these sparing matches consisting of ATTD-members being tied up and beaten on, while Hoid snarks at them about the situation. Is the book good? That would be amazing. I've read some of it, and it was....meh. Some good, but mostly just a combination of other popular books and whatnot with few original twists. The snark goes through and points out flaws and holes, as well as the good, which I find helpful for my own writing.
