Please, it's all about the art.

Now I'm wondering what a Dalles newspaper would look like under Vondra.

Page 1:

SLIGHT DIP IN PRODUCTIVITY PROMPTS ARSENAL TO CALL CITY "BUNCH OF LAZY WHINERS"

DEATHWISH TO STOP SEXUAL HARASSMENT OR FACE SENTENCE TO BE DETERMINED BY VONDRA WHEN HE IS "FEELING CREATIVE"

GLAMOUR VOTED MOST ANNOYING EPIC IN CITY

Imagine what todays newspaper must look no matter who writes it.

Town invaded from all sides!

Commander bravely taking part in battle!

But the actual title page going to: "Town couselor in illicit affair with unchecked newcomer!" Over a big picture of Shiny smooching Autumn. :P

SHINY SPARKLE: THE REAL STORY

I have no faith in the Dalles.

READER IS PUNCHED. BY UNANIMOUS VOTE BY POPULATION, PERPETRATOR FACES NO CHARGES.

Well-known security Epic Reader was punched in multiple places today, breaking his nose and leaving him with several bruises. As he said multiple times, they were quite painful.

However, when he pressed charges, Reader was informed that the town had voted to allow his assailant to go free.

"There are no votes here!" Reader said to boos and hisses. "This town is a dictatorship, and you're the last people to get a voice!"

"A benevolent dictatorship," Commander Vondra said. "And this leader isn't above allowing his people a voice when he feels they've earned it. Sorry, Reader, but the people have spoken."

Reader was told to "go home, clean [himself] up, and stop acting like a baby."

Reader's comments have been withheld for taste.

In case you folks haven't seen yet, I asked Brandon at his signing in Lansing if he could tell me something about Oregon's Destruction.

He said that not only was Night's Sorrow in Oregon, but is the one who destroyed it too.

Also, my apologies for not posting in a while. Some IRL things are eating up my time. I promise I'm trying to find time to write up a post.

"So then Lightwards, who had died 34 times by that point, went up to Night's Sorrow and said, 'Just because you're about to destroy this Empire I worked so hard to build doesn't mean I can't find you attractive.'"

Do you know what this means?

It means that since we can't be expected to canonically depict an Epic we haven't seen, we officially have license to do whatever we want to the state of Oregon.

ANYTHING!

So to escape from Oregon, the vanillas had to walk through the seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest, past the Sea of Twirly Swirly Gumdrops, and then they walked through the Lincoln Tunnel. :P

Well, that is until Calamity comes out in February. And by that point we might be half way through the next day  :P

Don't worry, my sister's getting Candyland for Christmas. I'll be available to help with maps. :P

Of course I know about Candy Mountain.

Now I'm imagining Scribbler and Edgerunner constantly following Arsenal and bugging him, chanting, "Let's go to Candy Mountain, Arsie. Candy Mountain, yaaay!"
