Kobold King he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Trans-dimensional multiverse celebration of complete euphoria? It is ultimately revealed that time-traveling aliens created quasars and pulsars as cosmic baubles to celebrate Nighthound's death. It all makes sense now, says a bewildered humanity. 2
Voidus Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Haha, love Atrophy's callback to his 'day in the life of' post Which reminds me, Cornucopia should probably appear shortly. Any idea what she should be doing Comatose? It is ultimately revealed that time-traveling aliens created quasars and pulsars as cosmic baubles to celebrate Nighthound's death. It all makes sense now, says a bewildered humanity. Supernovas are the fireworks they brought. 1

Well in the meantime we might be able to kill two birds with one stone if you wouldn't mind interacting with Cornucopia, I'm sure we could figure out some justification for them meeting.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 Hey, I'm hungry, plant Lady, make me some food! Sexism. Always a good way to introduce oneself.
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Sexism. Always a good way to introduce oneself. Good thing we aren't supposed to like him.
Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 When playing Uno with my family yesterday, I started talking about Savior Zero and The One Who Ate Nine. It was very entertaining. 3
mail-mi he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 If seven ate nine, does that mean The Financier mourns for the loss of nine, and doesn't believe any numbers with 9 in them exist? 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 If seven ate nine, does that mean The Financier mourns for the loss of nine, and doesn't believe any numbers with 9 in them exist? Numbers don't cease to exist at death. They're like spren--they still exist in an altered state, and they can be brought back when needed. But the horror of the One devouring Nine was more than enough to condemn him forever.

They are zombie numbers! 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 They are zombie numbers! Which makes 7 patient....7. Not 0. Patient Zero would cure the outbreak. Man the Financier makes common phrases weird. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Which makes 7 patient....7. Not 0. Patient Zero would cure the outbreak. Man the Financier makes common phrases weird. At least we don't have any characters named Zero make things even more complicated. 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 At least we don't have any characters named Zero make things even more complicated. The song "From Zero to Hero" makes shockingly little sense to the Financier. 2
Voidus Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 At least we don't have any characters named Zero make things even more complicated. *Subtly kicks Epic profile out of sight* Yeah good thing no one has any of those. 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 *Subtly kicks Epic profile out of sight* Yeah good thing no one has any of those. Don't worry, everything is alright as long as it doesn't get to Finnegan. 2

Atrophy did want to thank Cornucopia for maintaining the trees in Corvallis. For an actual reason though, maybe she asks/demands his help subduing the ghouls for better study? Obviously she can restrain them but its much easier to study them when they are not struggling too much. That would get him out of the house and interacting for a bit.

Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 I just wrote Gelliton's full backstory. It is so depressing that I wanted to cry for her. Is this normal? I also learned a great deal about Bellingham, Washington. 1

Mashadar Mistborn he/him Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) Conversation between myself and my brother: Me: I want to cry for Gelliton, her story is so sad. Him: Couldn't you have made it happier? Me: That isn't how epics work, they can't be saccharine. Well there is one called Saccharine, but her story isn't saccharine. Anyway, they can't be just happy funtimes, well except for Doctor Funtimes, but her life still isn't great by any measure. Him: Right... *backs away slowly*. Aside from that last line, it is both true and accidental. Edited October 5, 2015 by Mashadar Mistborn 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted October 5, 2015 Posted October 5, 2015 This gif makes me instantly think of Edgedancer. Behold, Ishmael on the interwebz! I just wrote Gelliton's full backstory. It is so depressing that I wanted to cry for her. Is this normal? I also learned a great deal about Bellingham, Washington. It does happen, yeah. Unless your characters are so evil you can't even feel bad for them retroactively.

Neverthere on the other hand has no tragic backstory to use as justification for her actions, she's just a manipulative sociopath.
