Current plan: silver make-up and a white wig, and go as an Elantrian. What does an Elantrian wear? Should I just wear the white robes of a sacrifice?

Props: A clear plastic plane upon which I will draw an Aon, and somehow convince it to hang in the air as I pretend to draw it. Also, draw another Aon on another piece of plastic, put it inside a clear balloon (perhaps some form of light), inflate the balloon, hang the whole thing from a stick with fishing line, have my friend stand off to the side and dangle it in the air. Boom. Seon.

If you are looking to get a code handed to you, make sure you get to the signing early so you can be in the front of the line.  He only brings a limited amount with him. Doesn't have to be a costume though.  Last night, people got codes for the right kind t-shirt (someone got one for a bridge 4 shirt and another got one for a 'ninjas can't catch you shirt').  Wetlandernw came in a nice conservative black skirt and a white button-up shirt with a white cotton glove on her left hand.  She and Brandon decided that she would be a master-servant and she got a code.  But, again, make sure you get there early.  I got one for being amusing.  Brandon did not have a chance to hide codes in the bookstore since the event was not in the hosting bookstore itself.  He said something about figuring out a way to hide them and I called out that he could hide one in my backpack.

Ah ok. I don't think there were any signings near me, and if they were I think I already missed them.

Gotta say the Steelhunt material you get seems pretty sweet, and I would love to eventually go to one of his signings in the future if I can. (Tell him to come to Cleveland, Ohio!)

No signings or Steelhunt locations anywhere close me either. I think there have been a couple of codes given out online on Twitter and Facebook but I haven't gotten lucky enough to score one of those yet. Hopefully the prize information from the Steelhunt will be released at some point for those of us who haven't been able to find a code.

given the kind of information released, I'd rather not partecipate in it and not get stuff spoilered. I'm going to read it all eventually anyway, in the proper narrative order, after it has been properly edited.

Yeah, it's totally NOT because I am in another continent and i have no twitter/facebook/stuf like that.

Wait, I'm actually glad I'm in another continent. If I lived within 500 km of a signing, I would never resist getting there and trying for a code. and then I'd have to read all the stuff, and I'd regret getting the spoilers. Just like I regretted reading mat's chapter from a memory of light before the book came out but I could not resist doing it anyway. Or reading the first 6 chapters of alloy of law, I wondered how the book would develop for one year after that, i'd have been happier with oblivion and reading the book all at once.

Hey, can anyone give me a current total on how many unique steelhunt codes have been unlocked to date?

As of me posting this, it is at 223.

But it won't be a unique code. Also, if I actually do end up impressing Mr. Sanderson with my costume, that'll be its own reward.
