Kurkistan he/him Posted September 25, 2013 Posted September 25, 2013 (edited) Yes, it is quite good. Edited September 25, 2013 by Kurkistan
Joe ST he/him Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 I watched a few of the episodes, but got bored? haven't really felt like catching up since then. I watched Silver Spoon instead, which is awesome XD
Diokhan Posted September 30, 2013 Author Posted September 30, 2013 Haha I tend to lean towards action.Watched a lot of Naruto, bleech and such.Fullmetal Alchemist ^^
Arachiel she/her Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Haha I tend to lean towards action. Watched a lot of Naruto, bleech and such. Fullmetal Alchemist ^^ If you like action, have you seen Future Diary? You must watch it And I'm so hooked on Attack on Titan, too. I can't wait for season 2!
PeterAhlstrom he/him Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Silver Spoon is by the creator of Fullmetal Alchemist. Very different, but awesome. We watched the first episode of Attack on Titan but it was too gruesome. 1
ZoneZero Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Attack on Titan - flat characters, flat story -> too meh. Gonna check out Silver Spoon now to see if it is something for me. 1
Natans he/him Posted December 23, 2013 Posted December 23, 2013 I like the style and premise, but I don't see the plot going anywhere so a kind dropped =) In the recent time Sword art online first 14 episodes are the best anime that I watched (don't laugh I have a soft spot for agaist all odd plots, even if are in lighthearted anime like this), It's a pity that the history is to rushed tough, who knows maybe when they release a little more progressive volumes a second anime will be made, that wold be nice. Silver spoon is nice, Fullmetal are suberb, very nice magic system and characters. But recently both animes, and Jrpgs are getting a little stale in my oppinion, to much fanservice and repetitive plots, or maybe I'm getting old =)
adeodadus Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Enjoyed it - reminded me of desert punk series. I wish the animation was more Captain Harlock 2014 version
Laryna she/her Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 AoT is violent, but the soundtracks are amazing ! And Levi's squad kind of reminds me of Roy Mustang's team :-)
Briar King Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 AoT is great IF you watch it a few episodes at a time. I was able to watch 1-5 and was blown away then each week I watched it new and it was very hard to stomach it. I did that for epi 6-12, then I just waited for it to end so I then watched 13-25 in 2 days. My advice is to do that if you lost interest like me.
ollie99 she/her Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I enjoyed Attack on Titan. I didn't think I would since it was so gruesome and graphic, but I think I liked it so much because it was different. It was dark and not drawn so prettily (like Lain) which was a nice change.
Lightsworn Panda he/him Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Attack on Titan is violent? Watch/Read Hellsing or Bezerk.
Aether he/him Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Attack on Titan is violent? Watch/Read Hellsing or Bezerk. I would posit that Attack on Titan is at or around Helsing's level of violence. Though the latter is a bit more... artsy... about it.
Cracknut he/him Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 (edited) Attack on Titan is violent but it got nothing on Berserk and Gantz. I don't see how being violent/gruesome/etc could be bad thing in manga/anime like Attack on Titan. Edited June 5, 2014 by Cracknut
