Edgedancer he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 If y'all can wait a few hours, I can begin the day with Autumn. I have the post all ready to go; I just need to copy and paste it. I know which Post you are talking about. Less murdery indeed. I look forward to it. By the way, here's the template to that Lucentia reaction meme I did a while back, in case anyone else wants to use it. And here's another glimpse of its awesome power: Is that one based on any actual Event? Great, thank you so much! So once the day officially starts I can just go ahead whenever? Pretty much.
Aonar he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Oh and with Comatose willing to backflash his charcters, is there any one else that will need to do anything in the Dalles? Maill and I have a short collab that is done (I think?), and just waiting on Maill to get back to be posted. It could probably be covered via flashback pretty easily though, if people don't want to wait. (Either way is fine by me.) Also, on a different note; if Salem is actually going to have a plot now, I might have to find a place for Nightterror. Just to add that extra little bit of chaos.
Kobold King he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Is that one based on any actual Event? Not that I know of in canon, though it wouldn't surprise me if there were something similar in Astoria's history.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 So...should I post for Autumn or wait until the collab is posted? I'm good either way.
Mestiv he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Hey Mestiv, I was considering that perhaps Atrophy could live nearby Drainer, and perhaps become involved in whatever plotlines you are planning for them all? Thought you might like someone but yourself to roleplay with haha we can take it to PM if you like the idea? Well, there are lots of ways you could do it. Like this hypothetical possibility: >Sentry established for a few years as the omniscient watcher of Salem, reporting all the goings-on to Mouldbreaker/Soulcaster (probably more likely Mouldbreaker as the first port of call, as he is the chief enforcer of law+order. >Heartsleeve shows up, wanting to work for Soulcaster, but admits to him/herself outloud that it is a ruse to overthrow Soulcaster or one of the other powerful Epics and move upwards. Unknown to him/her, they didn't see one of Sentry's pictures nearby (and being new is unaware of her ability) and Sentry overheard. >Sentry thinks "oh interesting.... perhaps this could be a valuable ally. I shall make contact and threaten to reveal their planned treachery if they don't work for/with me to take over. just an example of how they could get together btw, if you know how to make google docs, that multiple people can edit, that could be a good way to make posts together. Yeah, I like the idea to make our characters interact I'll PM you later with details on my ideas for Summer and we'll figure something out
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 So...should I post for Autumn or wait until the collab is posted? I'm good either way.Depends on when he is coming back. I would say. Anyone know something more concrete?
Aonar he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 He said it would last a week, starting Sunday, so he should be back Monday at the latest, I think? (He mentioned it in the HttFE thread.)
Mestiv he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Colab idea for Corvallis: Buttercup, after receiving news about new possibility high epic in town (Argon) decides to intercept him. In the same time Iconoclast decides to attack two common people (Argon and his new friend) passing by the fields, where he came by van. Buttercup finds Argon and Iconoclast already fighting and joins in. She doesn't know who is who, so we have a little brawl 1vs1vs1 Blackhoof, Blaze what do you think? I'll be away till monday, but Iconoclast and Buttercup are still a couple hours behind Argon i think. Edited August 13, 2015 by Mestiv
Blackhoof Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 That sounds pretty cool I'm a bit uncertain at this stage though. I sort of want Iconoclast to be in the background a bit more before interacting with the other PCs. I'm like 100% on him brawling with you guys at some point, but later on I think.
Voidus Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Also fighting in one of Cornucopias fields is generally inadvisable, she's somewhat prone to blowing up people who do that. 1

Blackhoof Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Oh yes, there will be ghouls to fight very soon i plan to have Iconoclast reach the fields after Comatose posts Rainmaker's announcement.
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Also fighting in one of Cornucopias fields is generally inadvisable, she's somewhat prone to blowing up people who do that.Excuse me but when did explosions turn into a detrement for our Plans? 3
Voidus Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Excuse me but when did explosions turn into a detrement for our Plans? When the time comes Cornucopia will certainly do her part to aid in Oregons destruction. (I was actually thinking for her death scene she might just raze a forest or two to add to the complete barren wasteland feel Megan gave Oregon)
Edgedancer he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Okay so I talked with Lucentia about that reaction meme, this was her response. 2
Blackhoof Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Also fighting in one of Cornucopias fields is generally inadvisable, she's somewhat prone to blowing up people who do that. good things ghouls don't care much for threats of being blown up @Lucentia: Lucentia you get an awesome diamond arm, be quiet Edited August 13, 2015 by Blackhoof
Blaze1616 he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 So how about 2 vs 200 zombies? That sounds good, though it's been ages since I've actually written any combat scenes (I don't particularly count the earlier one in this thread), so I'll try to find time to get in some practice
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) Could a Epic I planned for Corvallis join in? I figured he would work for security and probably be on of there best combatants. If you are fighting ghouls, you might want to have him along. Echo: Real Name: Marcus Tiddle. Only Power: Move memory: Echo can remember any move he has ever seen, including before he became a Epic, and replicate it perfectly. He is a trained expert on most fighting styles on the planet, and can handle most weapons proficiently. Weakness: His powers shut off if he is in a 20 foot radius of someone who loves him. History: Echo was a super geek, attending Stanford University and writing stories about the Avengers in his free time. One of his best friends became a Epic and almost killed Echo, probably leading to his weakness. He fought in the Portland turf wars along with Sparkcloud and then left Portland to head to Corvallis. Appearance: Medium height, blond hair, blue eyes. Dresses casually but always has a knife or 2 on him. Any questions? Edited August 14, 2015 by Venture Mistborn
Blackhoof Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 (edited) interesting, he has the same weakness as Euphoria. I don't have any issues with that, personally. Obviously it is Comatose' choice though, and he is away for a bit. @Winter: do you have anyone in Astoria? Astoria has gotten a bit lonely lately Edited August 13, 2015 by Blackhoof

Only Power: Move memory: Echo can remember any move he has ever seen, including before he became a Epic, and replicate it perfectly. He is a trained expert on most fighting styles on the planet, and can handle most weapons proficiently. Weakness: His powers shut off if he is hurt by someone who loves him. History: Echo was a super geek, attending Stanford University and writing stories about the Avengers in his free time. Appearance: Medium height, blond hair, blue eyes. Dresses casually but always has a knife or 2 on him. Echo looks mostly good to me. What is the definition of "move" that you are using? Something to think about: what is the mechanism by which he remembers "moves"? Why is it that he can remember those he's seen prior to becoming an Epic? The only other thing I want to note is that Corvallis is occuring simultaneously as Portland. Your statement about him participating in the turf wars confused me a bit, so I just want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly.
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Okay. He had a photographic memory. The move is any kind of motion. The moves are all in his memory. He was in the turf wars before the RP started.
Blaze1616 he/him Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 The move is any kind of motion. Right, that's my point. So any kind of motion, does that mean if he sees Buttercup fly, he can suddenly fly too? Or do you simply mean combat moves like somersaults, flip kicks, etc.?
Voidus Posted August 13, 2015 Posted August 13, 2015 Perhaps her death triggers a widespread destruction of plants? (Actually, what are Cornucopia's ezact powers? I don't remember.) Healing factor dependant on sunlight, plant manipulation and biodupliucation (She can plant stuff) Is there anywhere I could work on a post for? Astoria maybe? I think you were up in one of the scenes there. Also the collab for the Salem fight.

The move is any kind of motion. The moves are all in his memory. He was in the turf wars before the RP started. ok, so he is basically a super-martial artist? do the moves he sees have the same effects for him? so like, say you watch Bruce Lee do some sweet one-inch punch and send a guy flying. Sure you can replicate his technique and the "move" perfectly, but without his strength it won't have as much of an effect. Is he strong along with this memory power, to make his moves effective? If he sees a "fake" move in a movie, does it still count? Like a move that would be physically impractical or pointless and only had an effect because its in a movie? But the turf war started the same time as the RP. well really they've been going on since the Collapse, but only sporadically. They are just heating up a lot now. For instance the Epic he references, Sparkwire, is established in the RP canon from like the first post.
