If Steelheart were to be a movie, what song would you think would best represent it? I guess it doesn't have to be a movie but I feel like it fits better with the song idea.

That's fine, but I didn't mean to make it sound like yours wasn't enough as it was. A fan-made song is just as good, it's just that so far there's ONLY been fan-made songs suggested, and I just wanted to clarify that that wasn't a requirement.

I figured as much, since the OP had a Fall Out Boy song. Speaking of….

 

"Immortals" describes the Reckoners in the first book pretty well. 

 

 

And I think "Centuries" could also describe Prof.

Every time I hear Alone Together ("this is the road to ruin...") I think of Mistborn

And centuries could describe Kelsier pretty well also.

I would say American Idiot or For Whom The Bell Tolls, mabye Enter Sandman or The Unforgiven. When I saw this post I imedantly thought about The unforgiven and for whom the bell tolls because of the relationship between David and his hate for Steelheart. But Bulavard of broken dreams or The Black Parade would be amazing as well due to there message.
