Well, I can't break the game . My win condition is not tied to my faction. So I will say that I am confused and disgruntled that have been bribed twice when each time the bribe prevented my from becoming eternally aligned with my sibling. Furthermore, I have been one of the most inactive players in this game, due to confusion, so I am not quite sure why I am getting bribed. My first loyalty is to Seonid, not my current faction.

I have NOT confirmed that there exists any alliance of any sort. I am merely reminding all players that they need to play to their existing win conditions.

I admit, I am partly regretting that ruling now, especially the difficulties it has caused Joe and some other frequent transfers. But whether or not I regret it, it is immaterial. All the same, I consider it even more impractical to be consistently changing rulings within the game. My main aim at this point is to therefore: A. be consistent, B. to uphold rulings in a manner that will be fair to players such as Joe. And this means that I will expect players to uphold the same standards of behaviour that they have been held to.

Seriously, though, even if Kas wasn't against the idea, Moderation is suffering because of the alliance. Everyone, literally everyone, is targeting them. Moderation is getting every Arbiter, Striker and Bribe apart from exposed Discovery members.

Bort, our analysis is down to Pixie, you, Paranoid King, or Bridge Boy as discovery. Can you vouch for any of them?

 

Would you also share reasons (not necessarily their roles, but if they've roleclaimed, and if they have, how confirmed that is)?

 

In addition, I'd like to hear from Zas about these names, specifically Bort (because I might be wrong, but Bort is likely biased on his own account).

Araris, when we bribed you, we were counting on your loyalty to Seonid. If it did look like taking out Moderation, a private way to communicate with Heritage would have been invaluable. I had every intention of seeing you reunited before the end of the game.

BB, PK, Zas and myself have all claimed roles. You're right about my being biased towards myself, so I'll let the others speak for me.

Zas has pretty much confirmed the role he claimed, in my eyes at least. Not going to share details as it would reveal his role.

BB and PK both claimed roles. Being honest I've not asked them to confirm them properly . They vouched for each other on the grounds that they are brothers and regularly see the other's screen.

If i had to be honest, the role PK claimed would be easiest to hide behind.

Pixie, I can say nothing about. We had a few lines from him (her?) in the cycle one doc but they left immediately.

Haha, I will confirm what Eowyn said.  Hael and Clanky are no longer a part of our doc.  I sent a kill order on him last cycle, so I am assuming that he has one life left.  Would everyone like him or Clanky to be the target of our lynch this round?

Seriously, both of you too? Notice they don't deny that everyone else is there, and I listed them all before the player confirmed they'd gone. Are you guys implying I just guessed the player list. Current working theory is that bribing Eowyn, and previouly Kipper, was a mistake. Obviously Moderation has a critical mass of Discovery, enough that they feel they can get the rest (or at least one) of us lynched :/

 

My lynch vote is for Hael   The more discoverers we can get rid of the better!  

Really, your vote should be on Bort. You guys do realize that the side which has the last kill action is going to win this, right? That means Heritage and Glory, you guys should spend some time considering what you're going to do when the other side decides to take out your Striker or faction role while you're doing the whole 'kill Discovery' thing.

No, in all seriousness (if I'm discovery or no), if you're Svordish, and you presumably have a good reason to believe that, then your scans are genuninely useless. In which case, I'm actually just curious to see what people scanned.

Correction. Moderation is suffering awfully because people assumed there was an alliance, and then Glory made a big deal about it as an excuse to go all murdery on other factions.

I can certainly confirm that is no way that there would be a Moderation-Discovery alliance.

To reiterate one of the things I said, everyone needs to make sure that last kill action is theirs, or is dead. Having the last kill action in the game lets you start picking off your opponents when everyone else is forced to lynch. And if your faction is the biggest, has the kill action, and everyone else is just voting...

 

Heritage, have you worked out Glory's Striker and Faction role yet?

The diplomat scan happens after transfers. So, the first cycle one was correct, actually, as was the 4th cycle one. What convinced me I was Svordish was my fourth cycle scan. In my mind, there was a small chance that Seonid and Araris were both Discoveries pretending to be siblings. I didn't really believe it, but I had to cling to that last hope that I was Jindoeese, whether it made sense or not d:
