Oh, fine. I killed Aonar. It was a solo action. Everyone at this point knows that I am a Bloodsealer (or will within a cycle), so I don't see the point of holding back the information. I killed him because I saw him as a credible threat to Glory Faction, and I figured that he was the one doing a lot of planning and making the code. I actually have a four point list or something back in the Glory Faction Doc that I can't view now, if someone else wants to go find it.

Paranoid King can sort of confirm this, as we had a private conversation in the Doc where I told him my role and what I was going to do. Admittedly, I lied about killing Aonar, because I didn't know whether he was a Discoverer or not, but should he want to, Paranoid King can sort of confirm me.

And I failed to read Mailliw properly. He was just being so cryptic and aloof.

I know that targeting mail was discussed in our doc, but no definitive decision was made on a target.

This brings me to another point. Kas, if this is just me being blind, I really am truly sorry (again), but I don't recall seeing anywhere that the Discovery faction don't get to vote on lynches when they are no longer part of the three factions. This would mean that everyone who has been saying 'Discoverers are no threat, they can't do anything' is immediately suspect.

 

I'll admit, I did say this once (I don't recall if this was in the faction doc or in the thread off the top of my head) before I came to this realisation.

 

What Seonid said earlier, about allying with Discovery leading to a Discovery victory, it will, and this is why. Even outside of the factions, if we are divided on our lynch targets, they can still control a vote, and the amount of support they need from outside Discovery to do this will only go down as more people die.

 

Kas, if I'm wrong about this, please let me know.

 

Kas has clarified this for me. Discoverers do still vote on the lynch.

 

So, assuming 6 members, that is still six votes on the lynch. We are down to 21 players total, so they only need 5 more votes from innocent players to control the lynch vote, and as I already said, that number is only going to go down.

 

Assuming the worst, and that we still have one original Discoverer and have picked up another, and that Heritage still have both of theirs, that's our factions down by 4 votes. I hope for better, and that we are down a Discoverer, but we can't rely on optimism.

 

Heritage, as the largest faction, I believe this makes it your turn to suggest someone to lynch. Who within your ranks do you suspect? And everyone in Glory and Heritage, on the off chance that Moderation and Discovery are working together, we need unity on the vote. Anyone in Moderation against allying with Discovery, I would ask that you join us in this vote.

I can confirm that Moderation was trying to make a deal with Discovery, something I was very much against, (unless Wyrm were to tell us the names of the discovery agents in our factions.)

Also, Mail would have been attacked last cycle, then died this one.

And finnaly, the moderation faction was the one ro save Wyrm's Life.

Also, can I just clear up something with Bort? We're not innocent or guilty. We're a fourth faction in a three (edit: Should say four) faction game. We're no more or less important than anyone else. All we've done is trade our infiltration ability for abilities like the kill and protective roles etc. The lynch isn't meant to find innocents or guilty people, it's meant to just kill people.

And Glory wanting to kill me just makes me want to help the other two Factions even more. Of course, I'd never give up one of my allies to secure a deal, that's just incredibly dumb. They'd get killed off and lose a life, and we'd get nothing for it. Deals are hard to make, I admit. I was willing to trade information about other teams, which is what I'm good for, not my own.

I personally think that we should try and lynch Wyrm. He's a known Discoverer, and right now he's their public face. Add to that that he's an experienced player, and that makes things extra dangerous.

 

To me, it makes sense that we try and take out Discovery as much as we can, and then we go all out at each other.

The fact that Moderation has not stepped forward with any information, were planning on partnering with Discovery and took it a step farther and protected Wyrm pretty much seals the deal in my mind.

This just provides even more incentive to kill any outed Discoverers. Wyrm is suggesting here that once they are kicked out of other factions, they get normal roles (bolding is mine for emphasis).

...Whoops, you caught me there. Though you're not quite right. As you can probably tell from the write up, I am in fact a Shardbearer. What can a Shardbearer do? Well, you'll have to wait and see... Let's just say it's a shame there are no Resealers left, since it makes the added perks a little pointless for me, but I can do without them. We all know how fun a Shardblade is in one of these games .

Sorry for the double post (I'll hide the previous one), but I wanted to make sure everyone saw this post from Kas a while back.

The Discovery Faction comprises nothing but Blasphemous Scholars. Only Scholars have the ability to infiltrate Faction docs. If there were members of the Discovery Faction that weren't Scholars, they wouldn't be in the docs of other Factions. And if they weren't in the docs of other Factions, then A. I would never have allowed y'all to share Faction lists like that as you would've immediately revealed their identities by doing so, and B. your sharing Faction lists would've outed them. Unless, of course, one of the List-sharers is lying

But to settle the issue for once and for all: they are all Blasphemous Scholars, they are not secret Teullu Warriors, they do not have Rememberers or Arbiters, they do not have a secret Weapon of Doom, they do not have a kill ability, and by the Eighty Suns, they are not Eliminators. I'd put that in size 20 font if I could This is a Faction game. That is all.*

*This isn't a suspiciously specific denial, by the way. I should note I do not believe in pulling hidden-surprise rules on players like this. When I say there is no Weapon of Doom, I mean it.

Also, clearly Kas is the liar here. I mean, just look at the player list. It says my name is Cang Lu, when we all know it's actually Wurum Heron, King of Althekar, First of His Name, Protector of the Realm and The Herald of The Storms. If he'll lie about that, what else will he lie about?
