Blackhoof Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 hahahaha Although the Jedi does have a legitimate and very useful power. Not necessarily a versatile one but useful nonetheless. It would be an interesting power especially as a secondary to an Epic with other abilities, who uses them all to be a spy/assassin. 1

The duel for the Twilight. Meanwhile, Shiny Sparkle is still waiting for her mission objective. And in the end, Twi sneaks away to Nebraska while her two love interests duke it out, and the winner teleports to Omaha with a bouquet of roses. Slightly scorched. First, I would send her to Metronome. Once she had convinced the ruler of Salem to "lead" her (and probably flirted with him a bit) I would have the two of them team up and go against Timeport. Metronome could time Timeport's porting and attacks, while Shiny distracted him with her sparkly explosions, and I have a feeling they'd stand an excellent chance of setting off his weakness. And then there's also the dialogue we'd get. Timeport: God has sent me to destroy you, puny Epic! Shiny: Really? He sent me to cuddle! Timeport: YOUR CUDDLES WILL DESTROY YOU! Shiny: (nuzzling his cheek) No they won't. 4

Well, Shiny Sparkle wouldn't mind Nathan joining the hugging at all, nor would she mind Revolution or Sam joining for that matter, so there's no need to stop at three corners. Initial distrust also very much wouldn't stop her from sticking around with Funtimes until she gets fully... welcomed into the group, especially if she noticed that she's feeling flattered. 1

That was closer to Metronomes original character design, he was supposed to have enhanced calculation abilities, sort of like Aldo's borderline precog abilities, he wasn't supposed to be majorly powerful but certainly more so than just 'the time is now 6:53' but then I posted it for the purposes of a joke and the Metronome we all know and love was born.

It seems like a very random made-up name, not even a noun-verb or adjective or noun-noun combination like most Epic names. You know how when some people have near-death experiences, they claim to have seen a white light that they wanted to move towards? He sees himself as that light. Hence, Lightwards. Towards the Light. 3
