TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 And there we go. I wasn't sure what sort of incident would cause a crippling fear of avocados, so I made one up.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 And there we go. I wasn't sure what sort of incident would cause a crippling fear of avocados, so I made one up. I'm still not sure what incident you imagined, which is probably for the best. It sounds pretty traumatizing. (I wonder what the next redeemed Epic story will be. )
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 I'm still not sure what incident you imagined, which is probably for the best. It sounds pretty traumatizing. (I wonder what the next redeemed Epic story will be. ) I think it's more horrifying if the majority of details are left to the reader's imagination. (The only stipulation here is that I'd like to keep it within the realm of possibility. Because I have no earthly idea what it would take to redeem Nighthound, but I'm pretty sure it's more effort than the world is capable of exerting. ) 1

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 Is it wrong that I want to see an Epic!Aquaman vanquish Nighthound by summoning the sea ponies? It might be more economical to call upon whatever force made Applejack unable to remember how to swim.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 It might be more economical to call upon whatever force made Applejack unable to remember how to swim. I can think of a different Epic entirely whom that force would be better used on. Mainly I just want to see the looks on Ray and Red's faces when the sea ponies sing a cheerful 80s tune as they shove Nighthound face-first down a hydrothermal vent.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 I can think of a different Epic entirely whom that force would be better used on. Mainly I just want to see the looks on Ray and Red's faces when the sea ponies sing a cheerful 80s tune as they shove Nighthound face-first down a hydrothermal vent. As can I. But why stop with Nighthound? Why not call upon the Sea Ponies to take care of every Epic on the ATTD List we can think of?
Curious Anamaximder he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 As can I. But why stop with Nighthound? Why not call upon the Sea Ponies to take care of every Epic on the ATTD List we can think of? I support this.

But you'd need to flood the entire state to make the ATTD list accessible to them. ... And that's... um... what happened in Oregon? 1
mail-mi he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I can think of a different Epic entirely whom that force would be better used on. So can I ...if we're thinking of the same ATTD Epic, that is.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 So can I ...if we're thinking of the same ATTD Epic, that is. Although I'm sure we're all thinking of the same Epic, I can't think of a single ATTD Epic who wouldn't benefit from a meeting with the sea ponies.

The entire ATTD list + Backtrack, because while they wouldn't do him any harm it'd be fun to write about his recurring nightmares about them for years afterward.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 Except most of them would probably just murder the ponies on sight. Please. The sea ponies are so magical they can sing underwater. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say they'd just happen to know all of their weaknesses and just happen to be capable of setting them off.
Tyson Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Oh, this is awkward. I completely forgot I have a character in the Dalles named Reflection... No problem, will think of a new name and edit. What's his power?
Kobold King he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) Please. The sea ponies are so magical they can sing underwater. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say they'd just happen to know all of their weaknesses and just happen to be capable of setting them off. Shoop-bee-doo. Shoop-shoop-bee-doo. Tremble before the Sea Ponies, if you're on our list. Lethal as can be ponies, we have all your weak-ness-es! If the Moral Event Horizon is where you have been bound Count upon the Sea Ponies, they'll put you in the ground! Shoop-bee-doo. Shoop-shoop-bee-doo! Edited June 13, 2015 by Kobold King 2

I'm sure they would get along swimingly with the Quadrakong. 1

La Familia de Oceana, if you will.
Edgedancer he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Huh. That song makes them sound more like the Sea-Mafia. La Familia de Oceana, if you will. Didn't Kobold also turn his draconic minions (plus Voidgaze) into mafia at one point?
Fatebreaker he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 No problem, will think of a new name and edit. What's his power? Reflection: Can create mirrors that reflect anything. bullets, energy beams, explosions, punches, etc. It is reflected back with the same momentum. He's in the Dalles. He's part of the Slivers. He's not a major character, but I have plans for the group. 1
Tyson Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Thanks. I'll change his name. Malevolence?? Does anyone have that name. Can't see it in the epic thread but Portland and Dalles are too long to read through at this point. Would take me weeks lol

Voidus Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I have a malevolence in my list so it's probably not anyones name in canon and I usually change the name if it becomes a pc anyway.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 Aww, Reader's adorable. He actually thinks people will want to help him.
