Edgedancer he/him Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 ?????? One of the earlier drafts had him as something of an anti-Epic Epic. I never got far in actually working out that one, given that it would have needed some form of Vanilla run town to function as I had it down and something like that just wouldn't happen, he though only to have the Dalles be the second location of this RP. So that one got scrapped and we got the Nighthound we all know and hate. 2

Though I will say that picturing Nighthound with basically Sightline's motivations is very odd. It's not impossible, but knowing him as the Creepy King of Creepersville makes giving him any sort of halfway altruistic or even self-loathing bent somewhat difficult. 1

This is exactly why we need a "What Happened Before Calamity" thread, for random flashbacks into the lives of our characters before Calamity came along and screwed things up. Anyone else with me? 3

The design wasn't directly alturistic, just very ill suited to having other Epics around him. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that pre-Calamity Michael Jager was basically Fluttershy. Fluttershy mixed with Rainbowdash, if you want to be really acurate with the MLP references.
