Blackhoof Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) Which is why simply animal control is so much less OP than necromancy. Undead caribou could shrug off most gunshots until they fall apart. Living caribou might be immunized against pain by the mind control, but they can still be killed like a normal living creature. I can't believe the internet has existed this long without that sentence. But yes, she could easily grab the caribou with a few tornadoes and dump them into the Bering Sea. issue is, they could survive that perhaps, and be revived or somesuch if their bodies didn't explode. Edgedancer he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Being dropped miles off the coast? In the middle of winter, maybe? In Barrow? Naturally when Wrangler hangs out anywhere close to his herd the tornados, possibly coupled with a bit of lightning would probably just kill him as well.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 And if he attacked a northern settlement like Nome in winter, chances are excellent he'd be doing it when there is no sunlight, so he and his herd would be destroyed by a massive tornado as lightning lights the tundra in brief but blinding flashes. I'm not saying any of that because it's relevant; I'm just saying it would look really cool. 3
Blackhoof Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Lesson for the Wrangler- stay away from Alaska and powerful weather Epics.
Kobold King he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Lesson for the Wrangler- stay away from Alaska and powerful weather Epics from anybody, at any time, because undead caribou are a lot more fragile than you think. Fixed that for you. 2

Edgedancer he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 It's a sacred duty now? Perhaps I'd best heed it. Yup, just as I was and still am obliged to write about Quadra-Kong. The great noddly one demands it. I hope none of you minds me playing around a bit with the narrator. 2

I think that after reading Alcatraz and Terry Pretchett back to back it is more or less impossible to pull a narrator straight. And you shall in due time. Although I might work on the MONA fight before that.

Fourth person is about as insane as omniscient-future-predictive-gym-coach person ("Somebody's not gonna listen while I'm going over the safety guidelines for handling longbows, and somebody's gonna be crying and it ain't gonna be me. I've got tenure."). And I want more of it. 3

I actually shamelessly stole it from a hilarious writing advice parody book called Fondling Your Muse by John Warner. 1

In case it chears you up, he's entirely not sportly and isn't actually walking to get his food. Ah, sorry I seem to be holding you up on multiple posts now, I'll try to get Bioterror and Yorrick posted soon. You were planning on making a Yorrik post? Not that I mind, actually I fully approve, I just didn't priorize it because Kobold didn't even start his part of the fight yet and me finsishing early wouldn't help anyone else with writing something thmselves.

Edgedancer he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I'm planning on getting Lightwards up later today. Aha, so we will finally find out how severe the emotional damage done to Lightwards is one Stitch uses his own hat against him. 1
Voidus Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Aha, so we will finally find out how severe the emotional damage done to Lightwards is one Stitch uses his own hat against him. Lightwards x Hat x Stitch is my OTT pairing. 1

Voidus Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Don't forget that we're talking about an Epic who's on the ATTD list. He will not react well. Also he will be most indignant. If only indignant stares could kill, Lightwards would be a rival for Steelheart. 2

Alas, only CorpseMaker can kill with indignation alone. Just to be clear, are Stitch and Yorrick the two who are in the Museum entrance hall? Is there anyone else standing with them whom I'm forgetting? Would a quick physical description of both of them be too much to ask for?
