well, like i said previously, it lets me put my super-lurkery powers to use, and helps keep the forum clean sooner rather than later, so its a win-win.

I would like to announce that after three days without wireless, I now am able to view the interwebs at will again!

I would like to announce that three days without the internet would drive me mad. They would find me writing tweets on the walls.

In those three days, I read the second half of A Feast for Crows, then I read all of Wizard's First Rule, then I reread Way of Kings, and then I reread Towers of Midnight. The only one I skimmed through is Towers of Midnight, the others I was seriously reading.

This is what happens when I am denied the internet.

I would like to announce that procrastination sometimes comes in handy.  My mom just came to town, phoned me from superstore, asked what I wanted, and delivered my groceries for me :D  I was worrying about going to the store you see, cuz it's like minus a jillion degrees outside.  Since I was dilly-dallying I was able to capitalize on the generous spirit of my mother.  Thanks mom!  In gratitude, you get an announcement.

I would also like to announce that... nevermind.  I can't announce that.  You wouldn't understand.

I would like to announce that I finally beat Golden Sun: Dark Dawn (I got caught up in reading so many good books I forgot that the game existed for a month). I found it... well, the ending was not satisfying to me when compared to the other games. And since the beginning was also lacking, I find myself wondering why I bothered getting the game so quickly. However, I am hopeful that the obvious sequel to the game won't have an 11 minute long intro that denies me gameplay time and a 20 minute long tutorial thrust down my throat.

I'm still extremely confused by Blados and Chalis's motivations. I suppose it's similar to Saturos and Menardi, because we don't really know why they are trying to light the lighthouses until Lost Age. But at least there, Saturos and Menardi had a clear goal, and they kicked butt. Blados and Chalis seemed like a convenient plot device throughout the entire game. "Hey Matthew! You should do this thing for us. Why? WE AREN'T TELLING!" Ugh. So annoying. The more I think about what the Tuaparang were trying to do, the more I realize it made almost zero sense. For this only, I want another sequel, so I can know that Camelot had some plan, they just executed it poorly.

Plus, I want Nowell as a party member, and I want to see Jenna and Mia.

In any case, the main plot seemed like a total diversion from the real goal. Camelot should have worked harder to make the plot more solid. I also wished that they made more effort to explain why random cities like Ayuthay and Belinsk popped up. Something like "Hey, the Lamakan desert changed after the Golden Sun, and we found these ruins of Ayuthay." Something. Anything.

That after a 6 month probationary time the company I work for is going to be officially offering me a position.  Woot for pay increase, vacation time, and benefits.

I would like to announce that I've figured what it is that's bothering me so much about Golden Sun: Dark Dawn. One of the Jupiter adepts does not have Mind Read, and neither of them have Reveal. Instead, a Venus adept has a form of reveal that takes a long time to work. *grumble* ruining my favorite part of my favorite adepts...

Also, I'm pretty sure that as Isaac and Felix, we explored the whole world and didn't see pretty much ANY of this stuff. Only 30 years have passed. And these civilizations act as if they've been there for ages.

This. They should have at least hung a lantern on it.
