Actually I was thinking more someone murdering her then stealing her account :P But that works too.

Hey Winter, once you're done can you log into Edge's computer and kill Nighthound?

Guys, I won't be here from Early June until Late August. I've been wondering who could take over my characters during that time. Here's the rules for anyone who wants to play my characters.

Red cannot die and cannot change.

Mistwraith can get beaten up a bit and have her character change, but dying needs extreme justification.

Brightdeath can die but not change.

Chase can change for the better or the worse and I don't care either way if she dies or lives. Though if I get back and she's dead, I need justification.

Amber can die.

"Brightdeath can die but not change."  This made me giggle, for some reason, mostly because it fits so well with her character.

On MBI, we've had several absences MUCH longer than a few months (some permanent).  While that RP also moves more slowly than this one, my usual policy is to treat characters with absent players as NPCs, use them when necessary, and leave them to do their own thing when they are not, so that when the player returns, they can mostly pick up where they left off.

As I said before, MBI is a different format from WHIO, but for Chase at least, I could probably get by with her being an NPC for a few months, especially if we do some ground work preparing before hand.  Maybe Rainmaker could send her undercover or something...

Really, you want Nighthound's death so badly you're willing to walk over my corpse... seems I did my job too good.

One would think that being dead is quite the change. :P

Even slower than we do? How did you ever get anything done? :P

Leaving Red completely alone might be hard given how closely she's glued to Nighthound just ignoring her would be hard but I think I can manage taking care of her.

I'd miss our awesome Epic Physics conversations too much to do that, even at the cost of hastening Nighthounds death I wouldn't want to kill you :P Just as long as you kill him eventually.

I'm tempted at this point to say that I love you guys but I don't want to be a cliched guy on meds so instead.

I would not murder you guys. :D

I got lucky then. (Honestly, I miss you in the talks of powers interacting in my current pm groups. :( )

I wouldn't murder you as well Voidus and it has nothing to do with me going to prison for it. :P

Considering Part III of the Casuana ball was started 3.5 years ago and it still isn't done, I'd say we're pretty slow, haha.  To be fair, other threads move much more quickly, it usually depends on who is involved, what else everyone is involved with, and whether people stick around.

We are also just coming off of basically a 1-2 month hiatus due to life shenanigans for most of the players, so hopefully now things pick up again :).

Like I said before though, it's really hard to compare.  Here, we have several threads which are basically separate stories running concurrently, and most people are involved in most of the threads.  On MBI, each thread is a scene, limited to certain characters, and all of those scenes together make a kind of monster conglomerate story.  People can post within the current 'week', or anything previous, but since so many things are happening at once, time moves very slowly (after 5 or so years, we are still on our second week of RP time).  Here, there's more freedom to move forward in time, since we are generally dealing with less plotlines.

It's honestly been a real treat to compare them, and trying out a different RP has really re-energized me for writing.  Thanks for letting me join in :).

I would love to get Quota and Euphoria in the same setting some day.  It would be interesting to see them battle for control of a population's emotions.

Euphoria is a lot more powerful than he is, so she'd have him beaten in that department. Quota's strategy would tend more toward slipping in little bits of despair to keep her from ever gaining complete control.

Even still, it would be fun to see them react against each other.  What would even the playing field a bit is if Quota was on his home turf, since Euphoria would take a while to start getting people hooked.

Ooh, it'd be even more interesting if they were both in unfamiliar territory. If Quota got to someone before Euphoria did, how do you think their powers would interact, and vice versa?

Oh Comatose something I remembered the other day while thinking about potential combat applications for Euphoria is a condition called Serotonin Syndrome or Serotonin Toxicity, it was a potential side effect of a combination of meds I was on a while ago before they were switched, but in really severe cases it can cause potentially fatal complication.
Anyway something I thought might be interesting if she ever used her powers combatively.

I also will be gone for all of June, but I'll be back for the rest of the summer. I'm going to wait until it gets closer to decide what to do, but knowing us, the three weeks I'll be gone, only an hour or two will pass in Oregon. :P

I'm going to camp for 6 weeks, going to Europe for a while, California, and a bunch of other places. Crazy summers are the best.

EDIT: And you don't do that already, Twilyght?

Wow! That sounds awesome, we'll miss you, but I hope you have fun!

Funtimes and Quota posts up.

Awesome, as always, Twi. I do have a question though, would seeing Big Al pull out a McMuffin remind Funtimes of Courtney?

Yeah, probably. :P

No. Funtimes hasn't met Big Al yet, but she does know about him from her time in Vancouver. I was thinking Radiance used to berate Super Hotman for his lazy attitude, telling him that "if you were that Epic whose only power is conjuring greasy sandwiches, I could excuse this, but I expect more from you."

Huh. She knows about Big Al but hasn't met him, but she's met Lightwards, who has met him. And she also learned about Lightwards before she became an Epic.

Our crossovers are beginning to form quite the web. :P

And it's looking like she won't learn Lightwards and Thomas Cardinal are the same person, and she might never meet Big Al. But just you all wait until I namedrop a backstory Epic for one of my backstory Epics.

I just wondered if seeing food from McDonald's would remind her of when she found out about Courtney.

The High Epic Risotto, who is singlehandedly responsible for Super Hotman's debilitating fear of white rice? :P

Perhaps a bit, but she went to that McDonald's to talk with her sister frequently enough without incident that it wouldn't be much of a trigger.

Can I post another gif of Bill Cipher flashing with the words "I know lots of things"? Because I feel this merits a Bill Cipher gif. :P

Yes, because you're right. :P

Then I must carry out my duty. :P

Also, something that occurred to me earlier: if Bill is described as a dream demon, and Calamity seems to draw on people's nightmares for inspiration, are they essentially the same type of creature? And would Princess Luna, being the guardian of dreams, be responsible for keeping both of them out of Equestria?

That would explain why Calamity hasnt arrived in Equestria despite being properly ponified.
