So then, is it jazz that you like to play, or anything, or something else? I play a lot of jazz. I didn't really like jazz before I started playing, but now i live it! Blues is fun as well. As a huge Star Wars fan, I play some classics like cantina band.
Ookla the Absent Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I play bass, my brother plays bari.I also play piano, trumpet, french horn, mellophone, jew's harp, fife, sing, baritone, electronics, any pitched percussion...My brother also plays piano and used to do alto, might do tenor this year, and occasional harmonica.He also woodburns.Other family members play violin, drums, trombone, kazoo, harmonica, and sorta guitar. And draw. I've been meaning to start a band for a while, called Elend and the Obligators. It grew out of an AoL era Mistborn game as some minor characters, so there is some fictional backstory for my not-yet-real project. The hard life of a musician. The hard part is getting started And once we get started, we get confused, 'cause this hasn't happened before, so we get confused... ...and lost... ...and can't figure out how to get out of these spoiler tags. 1

Coinshooter he/him Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I'm an artist! I'm also a programmer (which, I could argue, is an art in and of itself)! I butcher songs whenever I try to play my violin! And I love to write things! I've got nothing cosmere-related to make as an application, but I'd still like to join the guild. (Here's non-cosmere displays of my art for those of you who are interested). I've also been looking for motivation to make Cosmere-centric art for a while now, so I hope this'll finally motivate me. 2

Ookla the Absent Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I'm drawing something for my director, or rather, painting it. So I need something to paint. I might ask another director for help, because he knows her quite well. Our band one year painted a mural on the (very large) back wall. It was a bit of a surprise to see when I walked into the room that Monday.
