Mistrunner Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 I've been writing a lot lately but getting some serious writer's block. Aargh! My brain!
TheSilverDragon he/him Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Made with love + melted crayonsAnything with a dragon deserves tones of up votes. Too bad I can only going give one. 1
ChullRider he/him Posted May 1, 2015 Author Posted May 1, 2015 (edited) Made with love + melted crayons How did you go about melting crayons? Edited May 1, 2015 by ChullRider
Kestrel she/her Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Hot glue gun and avoiding my parents. Also an open window because they stink something nasty. You heat up the gun, then dab the crayon. Do not shove it into the gun. Just tap the tip into the crayon. 3
ChullRider he/him Posted May 8, 2015 Author Posted May 8, 2015 Out of all the orders of the Knights Radiant, I'd say we'd have to be Lightweavers, because they focus on the arts. 1
TheSilverDragon he/him Posted May 8, 2015 Posted May 8, 2015 If you say lying is an art. Which I do by the way. 1
Mistrunner Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 What about plays? Anyone else do plays? I've done seven, I think.
Kestrel she/her Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Plays? That's pretty cool. I'm no good at ideas/writing myself, but I'd like to do one.
Mistrunner Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Plays? That's pretty cool. I'm no good at ideas/writing myself, but I'd like to do one. I meant acting, but I have written a few as well. One of them is about a squid. His name is Blobby. I do not write deep plays. 2
Kestrel she/her Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 Oh. I cannot act. I can voice act, a bit, but I cannot actual act. People can read me like a book. I think a squid named Blobby is worthy of Shakespeare himself. 2
Mistrunner Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I am unreasonably proud of him. It's a musical, too. I had a little too much free time that day. 1
ChullRider he/him Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 I forgot to mention...I had a piano recital. It went well. But also, if everyone could do this guild a favor and "advertise" the Guild of Arts in their signature! Thanks! (mistrunner, thanks for already doing that! )
Guest Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Same! I did this piece by Michael Gundlach. And utterly butchered it. I probably didn't really, but I felt like I did on stage. I don't know what it is about recitals...I'm perfectly comfortable with a band or speaking onstage, but recitals still make me nervous. Maybe it's the unfamiliar piano. I had to use an electric when I'm used to playing on an acoustic upright.
LouiseSparrow she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Hope you don't mind Brightness, I have copied your inspiration...
Kestrel she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Don't know if its my Kindle, but I can't see either image.
Brightness Random she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 @LouiseSparrow, no problem! Out of curiosity, what sort of stuff do you usually write? @LarkoftheRiver, LouiseSparrow and I were referring to my signature, where I've begun advertising the guild. Unfortunately, there's not any images. Though an image of a Guild of Arts crest could make for some nice advertising, now that I think about it.... Anybody have time to make a Guild of Arts crest?
LouiseSparrow she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I write as part of an online text-based roleplay game based in the Star Trek universe (http://fed-space.com/), and I also write some fanfic for another genre... and whatever else comes my way for friends etc. 1
Brightness Random she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Cool! Roleplaying is fun, and fan fiction is great too! I dabble in fan fiction myself, and I'm actually planning to write a Mistborn/Avengers crossover once school gets out. Edited May 17, 2015 by Brightness Random 1
Kestrel she/her Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Oh. I'm dumb. Oops. I really want to write a Star Trek/Cosmere fanfic. So badly.
Mistrunner Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 My inability to finish anything + school Story of my life.
