Curiosity he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 A boy whose parents have died goes and lives with his aunt and uncle. Goes on an adventure, is taught by a wise man. I'll let this one go to Allomancy. I didn't have one immediately ready. This could be a lot of things. I was thinking Star Wars. 1
Haelbarde he/him Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Star Wars is a better fit, I think, than Harry Potter. 1
Allomancy she/her Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 It does fit all three, but eragon was my choice. You got it. 1

Delightful Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Something like fantastic five?I think you're nearly there.
Haelbarde he/him Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Edit: Hmm, let me google this properly Edit: Famous five? Edit: No, Famous Five. Edit: (Famous Five was what I meant the first time, just been so long since I read the books, I got the title mixed up with Fantastic Four :/) Edited May 28, 2015 by Haelbarde

Quiver he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 (edited) A thief gets kicked out of his guild, fails to save a princess, wants to be duke. The Dark Knight Trilogy? Edited June 6, 2015 by Quiver
Haelbarde he/him Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Nope. It's not a originally a comic (though there might be a graphic novel) and as far as I know it hasn't been made into a TV series or anything. The thief, the prince, and their companions sneak past a something left by someone walking in circles to find a fake house while looking for a plant
Haelbarde he/him Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Nope. Should I just call it a day? Been a little while and had a few guesses.
Haelbarde he/him Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 No, it was Silverthorne by Raymond E Fiest. You can have a turn, ThirdGen.
ThirdGen Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 A distant father forces his son and mother to work together, with disastrous results for the world.
little wilson she/her Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I'm noticing that some people are just giving up if their description isn't guessed. Remember that the whole idea is to also add hints if people aren't getting it. Based on the OP, the idea was to go through these at least once a day (since the hints would be updated every 1-2 hours). The game has been dragging lately, but I think by throwing in the additional hints, it'll move it along a lot faster. 1
ThirdGen Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 The boy works with his mother twice at the same time.
ccstat he/him Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) Terminator (not sure which one) Edited June 15, 2015 by ccstat
ThirdGen Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 (edited) Terminator (not sure which one) It is not. The boy's squad are pilots working against bizarre entities. Edit: After it's all over, everybody can kick back with some Tang. Edited June 15, 2015 by ThirdGen
