Delightful Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Quiv, I think you win this one. Care to try another?
Quiver he/him Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Dang. Well, the answer was Torchwood: Children of Earth. Jack was described as a con man in his first apperance, Ianto's job was serving tea, and Gwen was an ex-cop; the miniseries is about them trying to stop the governments of Earth co-operating with an alien known as the 456 (two different cultures) and they do that by stealing the children that the governments will be giving the aliens (trade) and declaring war on them. As for a new one... hmm. A young boy is being treated for an eye and heart injury. A girl arrives to "rescue" him by kidnapping him while his doctor is away. This makes him feel better. 1

Quiver he/him Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Two guys wander the world, one seeking the other, both with serious facial deformities. Frankenstein? (The novel, I mean.) 1
Redbird he/him Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Two guys wander the world, one seeking the other, both with serious facial deformities. For some reason I want to say Harry potter, but is a scar really a serious facial deformity?
Kobold King he/him Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 For some reason I want to say Harry potter, but is a scar really a serious facial deformity? If it causes you regular pains and uncontrollable visions from the life of a genocidal serial killer, then yes. It probably counts as "serious." 1
Redbird he/him Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 If it causes you regular pains and uncontrollable visions from the life of a genocidal serial killer, then yes. It probably counts as "serious." Well I have not read it, so that seems more serious than it looks.
Curiosity he/him Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 None of these is correct, and I do want to remind you that that these are bad descriptions. Perhaps this is more accurate: Two guys with funny-looking heads chase each other around the world, eventually finding each other and killing another guy with a funny-looking head.
Haelbarde he/him Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) X-Men Origins: Wolverine maybe? Though that works more with funny-looking rather than deformities... Hmmm... Edited May 19, 2015 by Haelbarde
ThirdGen Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Spy vs. Spy? Maybe the 3rd guy is Alfred E. Neuman? 1
Curiosity he/him Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 None of the above. I'm wracking my brains for another clue...
Delightful Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Just to confirm, all guys we're speaking about are male?

Quiver he/him Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 After a young girl comes out of the closet, she and her family join a religious cult; when one of them leaves the group, the rest respond by slandering them to everyone who will listen. 1

Not sure I want to guess it, but The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe kind of? 2
Quiver he/him Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Not sure I want to guess it, but The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe kind of? Yeah. (I mean, technically, it's 'The Last Battle' with Susan, but that's being pedantic) 1
Claincy he/him Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) Yeah. (I mean, technically, it's 'The Last Battle' with Susan, but that's being pedantic) Ah, been a while since I read that one.
